Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you explain that museum work would provide experience and help develop communication skills, identify planning and teamwork abilities, and state when you can work. The application purpose is clear, and mentioning an attached résumé is relevant. However, some points are only partly developed. For example, you say your planning skills could help with the museum’s daily schedule, but you do not give a specific example of how you have used them. Your availability is also somewhat unclear: you say you can work full-time until the next semester and part-time afterward, but do not specify particular days or hours. Adding one concrete example of your skills and clearer availability details would make the application more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: you introduce your application, explain your motivation, describe your qualities, and finish with availability and a closing. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages, and phrases such as “In addition to this” and “My current semester” signal relationships between ideas. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. The long sentence beginning “I would like to inform you” combines several skills and possible uses without clearly separating them, while “which in turn beneficial” makes the link to advertising difficult to follow. The final availability paragraph also moves quickly from full-time to part-time work. Use shorter, more focused sentences and make each paragraph’s ideas progress more explicitly.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for an application, including “valuable experience,” “communication skills,” “data-driven planner,” and “hands-on experience.” These choices show an attempt to describe your motivation and strengths specifically. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “musuem,” “experiance,” “adversiment,” and “Iget.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise: “apply for a part-time unpaid worker” does not clearly describe applying for a volunteer position, and “passionate team member” is less convincing than a more specific description of your contribution. Aim for accurate spelling and natural collocations, and choose vocabulary that clearly explains how your skills would benefit the museum.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including sentences with “as” and “which,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, some errors in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction remain. For example, “it will also helps me” should use the base verb after “will,” and “My current semester will be finish” needs a passive form such as “will be finished” or a different construction such as “will finish.” In “which will next year,” the verb is missing, while “I am data driven planner” needs an article. The long sentence about your skills also makes grammatical relationships harder to control. Review auxiliary verbs, articles, and complete clause structure, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
