Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You address all three requested points and maintain a clear, appropriate purpose throughout. The reasons for applying are relevant: you enjoy learning about “history, culture and different traditions” and want to help visitors learn about the collections. You also identify useful qualities, including being friendly and responsible, and give specific weekend availability and shift length. These details make the application practical and complete. Some ideas could be extended to make the letter more persuasive—for example, explain how your interest in history or communication skills would benefit visitors in a particular way. Overall, the task is clearly answered, with a few points remaining general rather than fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter is organised in a clear sequence: you introduce your application, explain your motivation, describe your qualities, state your availability, and close politely. Paragraphing supports this progression, and signposts such as “In addition,” “Furthermore,” and “Regarding my availability” help the reader follow the points. The overall structure is easy to understand. Some transitions are a little formulaic, and “To provide some context” does not add much to the connection between ideas. You could make cohesion more natural by linking each skill directly to a museum duty, rather than relying mainly on paragraph-opening phrases. The closing is appropriate and completes the letter effectively.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the application and includes relevant terms such as “collections,” “responsible,” and “schedule.” However, spelling errors and some unnatural word combinations limit precision: “heared,” “loking,” “usefull,” and “availbility” should be corrected, while “provide me distinct knowledge” and “offer my helping hand” sound awkward in this context. “Work” and “volunteer” are also repeated, so a little more variety would make the letter more fluent. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than adding complicated vocabulary; for example, say that the role would “broaden my knowledge” and that you would “assist visitors with enquiries.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple sentences and more developed structures, including “I believe that this opportunity help me…” and the availability sentence beginning “I can become volunteer…”. The message remains clear, and several sentences are straightforward and well controlled. Some grammatical errors persist, however. In “your museum loking for a part-time worker,” the verb “is” is missing; “this opportunity help me” needs subject–verb agreement (“helps”); and “I am friendly, responsible and hardworking person” needs the article “a.” The phrase “I can become volunteer” also needs an article or a different construction. Check verb forms, articles, and sentence completeness during proofreading to improve accuracy.
