Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The letter shows a basic intention to apply, and it gives a reason for volunteering: you say you are a learner and want to “understand skills and learn new things.” You also make a general attempt to mention useful qualities. However, the reasons are repetitive and the example about students booking hotels and working in coffee shops does not clearly support an application to a museum. The skills and qualities are not described specifically, and the availability information is unclear: “I will be join 2 after 2 months ago” does not tell the director which days or hours you can work. The response therefore addresses the task only minimally. Give a clear motivation, name relevant abilities, and state a definite schedule.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is an attempt to separate the application, motivation, skills, and availability into paragraphs, and phrases such as “for instance” and “as a result” show an effort to connect ideas. However, the progression is difficult to follow because points are repeated and some sentences do not connect logically. For example, the discussion of “students book hotel” and “coffees shop” interrupts the explanation of why you want to volunteer at the museum. The final paragraph shifts abruptly to “running my academy” without explaining how this affects your schedule. Organise the letter around the three requested points, use one clear paragraph for each, and make each linking phrase express a genuine relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The response uses basic vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “museum,” “voluntary/unpaid work,” “skills,” and “practical knowledge.” This gives the reader a general sense of your purpose. However, the same words and phrases recur frequently, especially “work at museum” and “learn new things,” so the vocabulary is repetitive and does not express your ideas precisely. Some choices also make meaning difficult to understand, such as “some lucky people offer to work” and “attempt me to join.” Use more specific language for the role and your strengths, such as helping visitors, communicating clearly, or being reliable. Check spelling and natural word combinations, including “learn” and “practical experience,” to make the application clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, for example, “because i am a learner so i like to understand skills and learn new things.” However, sentence structures are very limited and errors are frequent, sometimes making the intended meaning unclear. Examples include “I would like to work to do some museum unpaid work,” “I will be join,” and “I yuo consider my ideas.” Articles, verb forms, word order, and sentence boundaries also need attention; the opening sentence runs several ideas together and has confusing punctuation. Practise writing short, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas with accurate clauses. For example: “I am available on Saturdays and Sundays, and I can start next month.”
