Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, covering health issues like stress and depression, as well as practical solutions such as medical consultation and lifestyle changes. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the discussion on 'work-life balance' is mentioned multiple times without adding new insights. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your points with more specific examples or logical consequences rather than listing several similar factors. Overall, the response is clear and fulfills the requirements of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for problems and solutions, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'For instance' to link ideas. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly forced, such as 'While, family duties also one of the key reason'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by varying the linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds logically upon the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'proactive measures', 'pivotal role', and 'insomnia'. There are some instances of awkward word choice or collocation, such as 'too much goals' (should be 'too many goals') and 'for proving mental peace' (should be 'for providing mental peace'). While you attempt to use less common vocabulary, some errors in word formation and collocation persist. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, but it lacks the precision and natural collocation expected at higher band levels.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'person have to consult', 'family duties also one of the key reason') and article usage. Some sentences are slightly clunky, such as 'Sometimes it would be reduce their family time'. These errors do not significantly impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that auxiliary verbs are used correctly within your complex structures.
