These days more people are suffering from getting less sleep that led to their health negatively . This essay will discuss all possible reasons for this before my own opinion.
First of all getting enough sleep is not good for health and for mental health as well . As its proven that getting 7-8 hours a sleep a day would make you feel fresh and energetic . Also less sleep makes people having poor concentration ,even in today's world people are more stressed and suffering from depression these days . Students are tensed because of exams so due to this they get less sleep .
Moreover , not getting enough sleep leads to many diseases like anxiety , diabetes, heart problems. Futhermore, less sleep affect memory as people feel forgetting things easily that leads to their academic loss . And even people feel less productive because tried people often work slowly and make more mistakes . For example , one of my college friend who was suffering from anxiety from last one year is because he often sleeps less . Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. However, the development is uneven. While you mention health issues like diabetes and anxiety, the section on solutions is severely underdeveloped. The essay ends abruptly in the final paragraph, failing to provide a complete conclusion or a thorough discussion of how to address the problem. To improve, ensure that each part of the prompt receives balanced attention and that your conclusion effectively summarizes your main points rather than trailing off.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the transition 'Futhermore' is misspelled, and the connection between ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed. The final paragraph is incomplete, which disrupts the overall flow and logical progression of the argument. To achieve a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that every paragraph has a clear, finished structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'not good' and 'tensed', and there are some collocation errors, such as 'increase rate of accidents' instead of 'increased rate' or 'rising number'. There are also minor spelling errors like 'Futhermore' and 'tried' (intended as 'tired'). To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to health and lifestyle.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('less sleep affect memory'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing ('more to feel irritated'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces appearing before commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading your work to correct basic subject-verb agreement and article usage.
