Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. However, the development of these ideas is limited. For instance, the problems mentioned (dark circles, weakness, lack of concentration) are listed rather than fully explained or supported with detailed examples. The solutions, such as avoiding social media and eating healthy food, are relevant but remain somewhat superficial. To achieve a higher band, you should expand on your points by explaining the 'why' and 'how' in greater detail, perhaps by discussing the long-term physiological or psychological impacts of sleep deprivation.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'First of all', 'Moreover', 'However', and 'Additionally'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'This is what they can be done about lack of sleep'. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the transitions between sentences could be smoother to improve the overall flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used in a more sophisticated manner would enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some basic terms like 'neoteric' (which is slightly misused here) and 'modren' (spelling error). There is also some repetition of simple words like 'problems' and 'sleep'. To improve, you should aim to use more precise collocations and a wider variety of vocabulary related to health and lifestyle. For example, instead of 'not taking enough sleep', you could use 'sleep deprivation' or 'insomnia'. Focus on using more academic and less conversational language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You frequently omit articles (e.g., 'lake of sleep leads many health issues') and have issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'this are the most common problems'). There are also errors in verb forms, such as 'human can not able to concentrate' and 'which will be describe'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly verb forms and article usage, will significantly improve your writing.
