Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as reduced productivity and the suggestion of a strict routine and dietary changes. However, the development is somewhat limited. The explanation of 'blurred vision' and 'anxiousness' mentioned in the notes is not fully integrated into the body paragraphs, and the supporting examples are quite brief. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations or specific real-world examples to show a deeper understanding of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' to signal the structure. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as 'This all aspects mentioned above'. Additionally, some sentences are fragmented or lack smooth transitions, which occasionally disrupts the reader's progression. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'productivity', 'sedentary', and 'nutrients'. However, there are several spelling errors (e.g., 'gettng', 'rouutine', 'stricktly', 'lifestylei') and some awkward word choices, such as 'proper fix routines' or 'tasks that are need to be done'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, and you rely on basic phrasing. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure you proofread for common spelling mistakes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'This problem impact', 'tasks that are need to be done'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'can cause by lack of sleep'), and missing articles or prepositions. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring consistent verb tense usage, as well as refining your control over complex sentence structures.
