The main reason why people can not get enough sleep because so many people are suffering from the stress, anxiety and some burden. For example, as a parent you need to pay for your child tuition fees, home mortgage and many more bills. As a result, the person who is suffering from these all conditions can not getting enough sleep due to tension. Therefore, a numerous people have difficulties getting sleep.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The essay addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention stress and anxiety as causes, you do not explicitly detail the 'problems' that lack of sleep causes (e.g., health issues, poor work performance), focusing instead on the causes of the sleep deprivation itself. The ideas are relevant but remain under-developed. To improve, ensure you clearly distinguish between the consequences of sleep deprivation and the reasons why it occurs, providing more specific examples or explanations for each.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the logical progression is hindered by grammatical errors. For example, the transition in the second paragraph is slightly repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that referencing (e.g., 'these all conditions') is more precise and natural.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'anxiety', 'tuition fees', and 'meditation'. However, there is a lack of variety, and some word choices are imprecise or awkward, such as 'a numerous people' (should be 'numerous people') and 'challenging condition'. There is also some repetition of basic words like 'problems' and 'solutions'. To improve, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and collocations related to health and lifestyle to demonstrate a broader range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'there are some solution can be done'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'can not getting enough sleep'), and missing articles. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the text from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that auxiliary verbs and verb tenses are used correctly in complex structures.
