Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, there are so many diseases are very common in which people do not suffer from any physical complain and the most commonest is the lack of sleep. In this essay we discussing about various causes with their examples.
To commence with the most relevant example of this problem is the mental stress such as depression, anxiety, fear and many more. As an example, in this fast life every age group have their own problem such as in childhood to adulthood suffer from pressure of study and getting good marks in the exam same as on the other side elder people having stress of earning good money and giving all the facilities to their children whereas older people also having health related stress. Moreover, some people are overthinker and emotional so whenever something bad happened in their life they were disturbed and not able to rush through their daily sleep cycle.
If all individual become aware of this and follow the instructions whatever given by their psychiatric then this will not that much serious . For that firstly every individual should do meditation in the early morning and follow the relaxation technique. Furthermore, government should increase the opportunities for the employment. Moreover , especially for the children parents must not compare their children with the other and always keep motivated them and encourage them to follow their skills.
To conclude, if every person and especially youngsters should aware of this and change their lifestyle then this can be beatable easily. Government should arrange awareness program to spread the awareness into the general public.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention mental stress and depression, the explanation of these points is repetitive and lacks depth. The solutions provided, such as meditation and government employment opportunities, are relevant but could be better linked to the specific problems mentioned. The introduction is slightly off-topic as it discusses 'diseases' generally rather than focusing specifically on the consequences of sleep deprivation. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a clear, distinct point with more specific examples or logical reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'To commence with the most relevant example of this problem is...' is grammatically awkward and does not function well as a transition. There are also issues with referencing; the pronoun 'this' is used frequently without a clear antecedent, making some sentences difficult to follow. Paragraphing is present, but the logical progression between ideas is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, which hinders the overall flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'problem', 'stress', and 'good'. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'most commonest' (a double superlative) and 'psychiatric' (which refers to a person, not the medical advice). Phrases like 'rush through their daily sleep cycle' are unnatural. To improve, focus on learning collocations related to health and lifestyle, and avoid using incorrect word forms or redundant expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('there are so many diseases are very common'), incorrect verb tenses ('we discussing'), and awkward sentence structures ('if all individual become aware'). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple or poorly constructed complex sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subjects and verbs agree, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect pluralisation.
