Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. The ideas are relevant, such as mentioning mental stress and physical health issues, and proposing exercise and diet as solutions. However, the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the discussion on 'joints pain' is a bit specific and lacks a clear logical link to sleep deprivation, and the solutions are mentioned rather than fully explained. To reach a higher band, you should provide more detailed reasoning and perhaps a concrete example of how a specific lifestyle change directly impacts sleep quality rather than just stating it as a general fact.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central topic. There is a logical progression from the problems to the solutions. You use some cohesive devices like 'Moreover', 'Therefore', and 'Firstly', which help the flow. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between the impact of workload and the physical symptoms could be better integrated. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the central ideas are easy to follow, though the use of cohesive devices could be more varied and natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'working professionals', 'disruption', and 'dietician'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation that slightly hinder precision. For example, 'behave irritated' should be 'behave irritably' or 'feel irritated', and 'disturbs health cycle on the people' is unnatural phrasing. You attempt to use some less common vocabulary, but the control is not always consistent. To improve, focus on learning common collocations—words that naturally go together—to ensure your writing sounds more idiomatic and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you successfully use some complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'help them relaxing' (should be 'help them relax'), 'workings professionals often seen' (should be 'working professionals are often seen'), and 'lets people to start' (should be 'lets people start'). These errors are noticeable but do not generally impede communication. To achieve a higher score, you need to increase the frequency of error-free sentences and pay closer attention to verb patterns and article usage, which are currently inconsistent throughout the text.
