Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The essay addresses both parts of the prompt: the problems caused by lack of sleep and potential solutions. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention screen time and lack of exercise, the explanation of the actual 'problems' caused by sleep deprivation is missing; you focus more on the causes of the deprivation itself rather than the consequences (e.g., health issues, productivity loss). The conclusion is also incomplete and grammatically fragmented, which limits the overall impact of your argument. To reach a higher band, ensure you explicitly detail the negative effects of sleep loss as requested by the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'To recapitulate'. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For instance, the sentence 'This shift in leads to the digital addiction' contains a grammatical error that disrupts the logical progression. Additionally, the final sentence is incomplete, which breaks the coherence of your conclusion. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically connects to the next will help improve your score in this area.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a reasonable range of vocabulary, attempting to use more sophisticated terms such as 'preponderant', 'myriad', and 'deprivation'. However, there are several issues with word choice and collocation. For example, 'taking sound sleep' is unnatural; 'getting enough sleep' or 'achieving quality sleep' would be better. You also have errors like 'easy assess to' (should be 'access') and 'involve in out door activities' (should be 'engage in outdoor activities'). While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, the frequent errors in collocation and word form prevent a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('There has been many debates'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage. The sentence 'This shift in leads to the digital addiction' is grammatically incorrect, and the final sentence of the essay is an incomplete fragment, which significantly impacts the accuracy of your writing. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic errors like pluralisation and verb forms, and try to ensure that every sentence has a clear subject and predicate.
