Student answer (Band 5.5)
IN TODAY'S TIME , THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE FACING THE SLEEP PROBLEM BECAUSE OF HECTIC LIFESTYLE AND STRESSFUL WORKING ENVIRONMENT.I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS SOME PROBLEMS REGARDING TO INSOMNIA AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES FOR THE SAME IN FOLLOWING PARAGRAPHS.
FIRST OF ALL, LACK OF SLEEP CAUSES SOME VERY SERIOUS MENTAL AND PHYSICAL PROBLEMS. IN SIMPLE WORDS, IF THE PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE PLENTY OF SLEEP , THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FOCUS ON GIVEN TASK AND THEY WILL FEEL MENTALLY EXHAUSTED. SAME GOES WITH THE PHYSICAL WELL BEING , PEOPLE WITHOUT A PROPER REST THEY WILL FACE SOME SERIOUS ISSUES IN LONG TIME .FOR INSTANCE , LET'S ASSUME THE INDIVIDUAL WHO ARE WORKING FOR THE TECHNO COMPANY , DUE TO ANY REASON HE COULD NOT TOOK PLENTY OF SLEEP SINCE A WEEK . HE WILL NOT ABLE TO CONCENTRATE ON THE TASK IN ORGANIZATION AND HIS WORKING PERFORMANCE GET DECREASED DUE TO HIS MENTAL TIREDNESS . HE IS GOING TO DRAIN EASILY AS HE COULD NOT TOOK ENOUGH SLEEP.
THERE ARE SOME SOLUTIONS WHICH COULD TREMENDOUSLY PREVENT THIS PROBLEM . ASSOCIATION SHOULD MAKE A SCHEDULE THE TIME FOR THE REST OF THEIR EMPLOYEE AND ALLOW THEM TO TAKE SOME SLEEP AND THEN GO TO WORK .IT HELPS TO MAINTAINS THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING OF THE WORKERS.CONSEQUENTLT THEY FEEL FRESH FOR THE TASK AND WILL ABLE TO GIVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL TO PERTICULAR JOB. SECONDLY , GOVERNMENT SHOULD RUN THE ANTY STRESS CAMPAIGN TO HELPS INDIVIDUAL TO COPE UP WITH MENTAL ANXIETY AND ANY PHYSICAL PAIN OR BURDEN AS PAIN ALSO ONE OF REASONS FOR THE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS.
IN CONCLUSION , SLEEPLESSNESS IS THE MAIN REASIN FOR THE UNFOCUSED SITUATION AT WORK AND DECLINE OF THE PERFORMANCE AND MENTAL HEALTH AS WELL AS PHYSICAL HEALTH FOR THE INDIVIDUAL. ASSOCIATIONS AND GOVERNMENT SHOULD WORK TOGETHER TO PREVENT THIS PROBLEM AND DO SOME WORK FOR IT .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the problems caused by lack of sleep and offering preventive measures. The position is clear throughout, and relevant ideas are presented, such as mental exhaustion, decreased work performance, and potential solutions involving company schedules and government campaigns. However, some ideas are a bit repetitive and under-developed, relying on simple examples like the tech company worker. To reach a higher band, the discussion of problems and solutions would benefit from deeper analysis and broader real-world examples. Nevertheless, the requirements of the prompt are sufficiently covered, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, dividing the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion appropriately. Logical sequencing is present, moving from problems to solutions. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical and faulty. For instance, transitional phrases like 'SAME GOES WITH' and 'CONSEQUENTLT' (a typo) show awkward referencing and inaccurate mechanical links. Paragraph divisions are clear, but logical progression within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted by phrasing issues and abrupt transitions. Overall, the organizational structure meets the criteria for Band 6.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'hectic lifestyle', 'insomnia', 'mental exhaustion', and 'preventive measures'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations throughout the text, such as 'getting the sleep problem', 'could not took', 'ANTY STRESS CAMPAIGN', and 'REASIN FOR THE UNFOCUSED SITUATION'. Spelling and word-choice errors occur frequently (e.g., 'CONSEQUENTLT', 'PERTICULAR'), although they rarely impede overall communication. These limitations place the vocabulary firmly in the Band 5 to 6 range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex structures such as conditional and relative clauses ('if the people do not take plenty of sleep, they will not be able to...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly concerning verb tenses and modal verb constructions, such as 'could not took', 'he will not able to concentrate', and 'people without a proper rest they will face'. Punctuation and capitalization are also problematic, as the entire response is written in uppercase letters and features spacing errors around punctuation marks. These frequent errors restrict the score to Band 5.0.
