In this fast-paced era , lifestyle of individual is getting worse. People are facing problem in getting better sleep due to stress and long hours shifts. In this essay i am going to discuss the reasons behind the lack of good sleep and the solutions to these problems.
The first and the foremost reason for why individuals are facing problem in getting enough rest is work stress due to long hours shifts .To make it more clear , in this fast growing world , most of the mankind having more job duties to do which makes their shift timings longer and stressfull as compared to 10 years before. For example, a well known media CBC news post that companies are growing rapidly as compared to last 2 decades because of the introduction of 5g networks and digitalisation results in overnight duty timings as well as long hours shifts. Thus, this kind of environment changes the lifestyle and creates difficulties in getting good sleep.
The most prominent solution for such kind of problem is to hire more manpower and reducing the shift timings . To make it more clear, companies should hire more manpower to lessen the burden from the staff who is working more than 8 hours everyday to achive extra tasks . For instance, big MNC name JCB india limited runs their company 24 hours in rotation in 3 shifts 8 hours everyshifts results in less work stress. Infact, this results in better lifestyle for workers.
To conclude , although this fast paced-era made workers life more stessful and restfree because of long hours shifts and more job duties per individual .However, this can be eliminate by recruiting more manpower by corporates as well as implementing 8 hours duty per shift result in reducing work load and getting good sleep.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the causes of sleep deprivation such as long shifts and work stress, and providing solutions like hiring more manpower and implementing standard eight-hour shifts. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. However, the introduction misinterprets the prompt's instruction by stating it will discuss the reasons behind the lack of good sleep rather than the problems caused by lack of sleep, which slightly impacts the overall task coverage. Ideas are generally supported with examples, such as the mention of JCB India Limited, although some explanations feel repetitive. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, fulfilling the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The response is arranged into four paragraphs, following a logical structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs focusing on causes and solutions respectively, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate ideas. Cohesive devices are employed throughout the text, such as 'The first and the foremost reason', 'For example', and 'To conclude'. However, some cohesive transitions feel mechanical and repetitive, notably the phrase 'To make it more clear' used multiple times. Referencing is generally clear, though minor issues in logical progression and overused linking phrases prevent the text from reaching a higher band. Coherence and cohesion correspond to a solid Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary suitable for the task, incorporating words like 'digitalisation', 'manpower', 'corporates', and 'stessful'. However, there are notable spelling errors and awkward word formations, such as 'stessful' instead of stressful, 'restfree' instead of rest-free, and 'everyshifts'. Less common lexical items are attempted with some inaccuracy in collocation and word choice. While vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main points clearly, the frequent minor slips in spelling and lexical control keep the response within the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range, comfortably meriting a 6.0 for functional adequacy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting relative clauses and conditional structures. There are, however, frequent grammatical errors and punctuation issues throughout the text. Examples include spacing errors around commas ('era , lifestyle'), missing articles ('lifestyle of individual', 'name JCB india limited'), and awkward verb agreements ('results in overnight duty timings as well as long hours shifts'). Despite these inaccuracies, communication is rarely impeded, and the reader can easily follow the arguments. The control of grammar aligns well with the Band 5.5 descriptor.
