Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is generallty acknowledged that many people nowadays, facing difficulties in sleeping and this will be explain in forthcoming paragraphs with my perspective.
First and foremost, people do not have a proper sleeping schedule or a fixed time to sleep. To explicate, sleeping schedule is very important in individual's life. As, people have hectic schedule so they have myriad of activities to do in a day. For example, people living abroad do not have a proper schedule like they have to manage studies, followed by job and household chores like cooking food, cleaning etcetera. Therefore, this is the major cause like people can not able to manage their activities on time. Moreover, students consume coffee which is high in caffiene. which makes mind active.on the flip side it is a bad component for sleep.Tension is the main culprit for the lackof sleep.
On the Other hand, to combat this issue, limit the use of caffiene in daily lives. Do physical activities like yoga, running, jogging it will help in mitigating the stress. Screen time should also be limited before bedtime. Listen to light music will rejuvenate your mind and calms your mind.
To exemplify a recent studies revealed that, before bedtime consume chamomile tea it relieves anxiety and refresh your mind.In addition, taking hot water shower may also help you to sleep fast because it refresh body and no caffiene after 5 PM.Therefore, this are the activities which really works and helps people to asleep.
To recapitulate, according to my perspective, sedentary lifestyle and lots of workload is the main cause of lack of sleep. To get rid from this, do regular physical activities, Limit the screen time and consumption of caffiene will help u alot.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question by identifying possible causes of poor sleep and suggesting ways to improve it. The advice about reducing caffeine and screen use, exercising, and relaxing is relevant. However, the response focuses more on causes and remedies than on the problems lack of sleep can cause; these consequences are not clearly explained. The opening also promises to explain your perspective but does not establish a clear position, and several points—such as the example about people living abroad—are not fully connected to sleep-related effects. To strengthen the response, explain specific consequences, such as reduced concentration or poorer health, and develop each point with a clear reason or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph discussing causes, a paragraph offering solutions, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Moreover,” and “To recapitulate” help signal movement between points. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “On the Other hand” suggests a contrast, although the next paragraph simply presents solutions, and the connection between workload and the stated causes is not always explicit. The long first body paragraph also combines schedule, caffeine, and tension without clearly separating their relationships. Use topic sentences that identify each paragraph’s purpose, and connect examples directly to the point they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary and attempt some less common expressions, including “hectic schedule,” “mitigating the stress,” and “rejuvenate.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond basic terms. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “sleeping schedule,” “bad component for sleep,” and “helps people to asleep.” Spelling errors, including “caffiene” and “generallty,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural topic-specific phrases such as “sleep routine,” “disrupt sleep,” and “fall asleep,” and check spelling carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your explanations clearer and help you avoid repeating general terms such as “activities” and “mind.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “because it refresh body” and examples introduced with “For example.” However, control is inconsistent, and faulty sentence construction sometimes makes ideas difficult to follow. For instance, “many people nowadays, facing difficulties in sleeping” is not a complete, well-formed clause, while “people can not able to manage” combines incompatible verb forms. There are also agreement and article errors, as in “this are the activities,” and punctuation problems where sentences run together. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and verb patterns. Breaking longer ideas into shorter, accurate sentences will improve clarity.
