Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify relevant consequences of poor sleep, including reduced concentration, low energy, physical illness, anxiety and depression, and you offer a possible response by recommending time in nature. However, the task is only partially addressed: the effects are listed rather than explained, and the solution is brief and does not clearly show how it would help people sleep better. The conclusion, “sleep is indispensable for individual's health,” restates a general point but does not bring the proposed actions together. The response is also 98 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop and support the ideas. Add specific explanations or examples for both questions and expand the range of practical measures.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on problems, a paragraph on a remedy, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover” help signal the list of effects. However, progression is limited because the solution paragraph contains only one brief suggestion, and the conclusion does not summarise the main points. The opening sentence also moves awkwardly from causes to solutions, while “Although … however” combines two contrasting linkers unnecessarily. Develop each paragraph around a clear main idea, use transitions to show relationships between ideas, and ensure the conclusion reflects the full response.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “insufficient rest,” “adverse effects,” “focus,” and “mental health,” which helps communicate the main points. There is also an attempt to use more formal language, for example “indispensable.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling or word-choice errors reduce accuracy: “taks,” “cognative,” “ramedy,” and “effect” where the verb “affect” is needed. Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “serious diseases” followed by cancer and heart attack as “common risks.” Build a more precise range for discussing sleep and health, and check spelling and collocations carefully so that your meaning sounds natural and exact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a cause-and-effect structure in “not getting enough sleep can lead to lack of energy” and a sentence beginning “Although.” The main ideas are generally understandable, but grammatical control is uneven. For example, “many people complaining” needs a finite verb (“many people complain”), and “human body and mind get relax” has problems with articles and verb form. “Individual should” also needs an article or plural form, while “for individual's health” requires a possessive determiner or plural construction. The opening’s “Although … however” is structurally redundant. Practise accurate subject–verb patterns, articles, and verb forms, while keeping complex sentences clear.
