Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the question: it identifies consequences such as difficulty concentrating, weakened immunity, mood changes and physical health problems, then recommends regular sleep schedules and sufficient rest. The student example about struggling to concentrate after sleeping four to five hours is relevant. However, the problems are listed rather than clearly explained, and some statements are confusing or contradictory—for example, “Sleep reduse the health problems” does not clearly connect to the preceding point. The solutions are also quite general, with little explanation of how to establish better sleep habits. To strengthen the response, explain a smaller number of effects and practical measures more fully, and make the central argument clear from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is an identifiable overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph about problems, a paragraph about solutions and a conclusion. The use of “For example,” “In other words” and “As a result” shows an attempt to connect ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves abruptly from concentration to immunity, mood, eyesight and blood pressure, while “In first side” and “In secound side” do not create clear logical links. The conclusion repeats recommendations from the solution paragraph rather than summarising the main effects and response. Group related points, use clear topic sentences, and ensure each linking phrase accurately expresses the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response attempts vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “immune system,” “irritable,” “concentrate,” “regular sleep” and “sleeping habits.” These choices show some awareness of the language needed to discuss health and routines. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “deficulties,” “routtines,” “nagitively,” “inugh” and “continew.” Some expressions are also unnatural or unclear, including “weak eyeside,” “improve their skills” and “improve imotions.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations for sleep and health; choose precise phrases such as “weaken eyesight” or “improve emotional well-being” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing includes some simple sentences and attempts longer structures, for example, “This is because…” and “For example, Students who sleep for four to five hours at night struggle to concentrate in class.” However, sentence construction is often faulty, and punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent. The opening sentence, “This assy will discus how sleep how leed to physical diesases, and argue that routtines and most effective things,” does not form a complete, clear grammatical statement. Other examples include “They have to make a schedule and get sufficient sleep at every night,” where the preposition is incorrect, and “Finally manage daily responsibilities,” which lacks a clear subject. Practise complete sentence patterns, articles and prepositions, and proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries.
