Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both parts of the question: the first main paragraph explains effects on health, work and concentration, while the next offers exercise, diet and reducing screen use as responses. The examples about professionals and students help make the points relevant. This meets the task well overall, but some ideas are asserted rather than clearly explained. For instance, the survey example about students and illness is difficult to connect precisely to the claim, and the final paragraph repeats the general solution without adding detail. To strengthen the response, explain the effects more specifically and develop practical measures—for example, how a consistent bedtime or limiting caffeine could improve sleep.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on problems, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “To recapitulate” make the progression easy to follow. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Certainly” and “however” in the opening are not punctuated or linked smoothly, and “Hence” introduces a consequence that partly repeats the preceding point. The reference to “former” and “latter” in the screen-use example also requires the reader to work out which group is meant. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make links between each claim and its explanation more explicit to create smoother progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “mental and hormonal distress,” “sleep cycle,” “concentrate,” and “dietary plans.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic vocabulary. However, inaccurate word choice and collocation are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning awkward, as in “the most luckiest ones,” “most masses,” “brain ideas,” and “blues rays.” Some expressions also sound unnatural, such as “regular 8 hours sleep scheduler.” Aim for precise, conventional combinations and check word forms and spelling. A more controlled vocabulary would make your meaning clearer and help the reader focus on the argument rather than interpreting individual phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “where,” and “while,” and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries occur across the response. Examples include “people who gets,” “Continuous sleepless night deteriorate,” and “body did not get proper rest”; these need plural agreement or more appropriate verb forms. The opening also joins contrasting ideas with “however” without effective punctuation, and “Because, this will…” is an incomplete or awkwardly attached sentence. Review subject–verb agreement and practise punctuating longer sentences so that complex structures remain clear and controlled.
