Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: you identify anxiety, work pressure and illness as causes or related problems, and suggest yoga, exercise, meditation and dietary changes. The conclusion also restates your main view. However, the response only partly answers the first question, which asks what problems lack of sleep causes; most of that discussion explains why people cannot sleep rather than describing consequences such as reduced concentration, poor work performance or health effects. The solutions are listed but not explained in enough detail, and the example about tobacco and alcohol is left unfinished. Develop each main point with a clear explanation and a relevant example so the response addresses the task more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the phrases “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” signal a change of focus. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear: the first body paragraph discusses causes of sleeplessness, while the second gives a long list of remedies, without clearly separating the requested problems from their causes. Some links are mechanical, and the first paragraph ends abruptly after “tobeko or alcohol,” leaving the example incomplete. Group related ideas and use topic sentences to show how each paragraph answers a specific part of the question. Clearer links between claims and explanations would make the organisation easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work stress,” “anxiety,” “physical and mental health,” “meditation” and “responsibility.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your ideas. However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or repeated, such as “lack sleep,” “sleep well” and “more effective for their sleep.” Spelling errors—including “preasent,” “worrid,” “habitts” and “anxetiy”—also make the writing less clear and reduce control of vocabulary. Aim for more precise topic language, such as “sleep deprivation,” “concentration” and “daily functioning,” and check spelling and natural word combinations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, for example, “If they lose job so, how can they will survive life,” and use linking clauses such as “because if they do meditation…” However, many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction, which sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “this problem increasing,” “anxiety is play” and “how can they will survive.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, particularly at the beginnings of sentences. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. For instance, write “If they lose their job, how will they support themselves?” and check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
