Student answer (Band 6.0)

In Todays Hectic world where everybody is in hurry to reach their set milestones or Targets as quickly as possible, People often forgets the importance of proper sleep. Many folks complain that getting enough sleep is very hard at present. There are various reasons causing this issue which I will discuss today.

Numerous health problems are often associated with lack of sleep. A person following a proper sleep schedule is tend to face less health issues than someone with bad sleep schedule. Someone not taking proper sleep often feels tired and less energetic in the morning, Some people also complains about pain in body and headaces. The brain does not function at full capacity as it did not receive proper rest. These all issues can further cause a much more serious threats to health like 'INSOMNIA'.

There are plethoras of options that should be considered in order to enhance or correct the lack of sleep problem. Person going through this phase should start to do more physical activity after work, This can be done by going out for a Walk, Running or perhaps by joining a fitness class in GYM. Other than that Proper diet should be followed which includes all necessary nutrients such as Protein, Fiber and minerals. A proper schedule should be made for each day including at least 8 Hours of sleep.

To conclude i would say that sleep is one of the most critical aspect of our daily life and we should not ignore it. Proper sleep will make sure that we live a healthy and proporous life. Also we should try having more conversations with someone we are comfortable with as these conversations about any stressful situation at work or school really helps in easing out and getting rid of any unwanted stress and having a peacefull mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: the response identifies health effects of insufficient sleep and suggests exercise, a balanced diet, a regular sleep schedule, and talking about stress. The health paragraph gives relevant examples, such as tiredness, low energy, and headaches. However, some points are not fully explained. For instance, the claim that poor sleep can lead to “INSOMNIA” is unclear, since insomnia is itself a sleep problem, and the link between the listed effects and more serious health consequences needs clarification. The proposed solutions would be stronger if you explained how they improve sleep and distinguished general wellbeing advice from measures directly targeting sleep difficulties. Overall, the response is relevant, but some ideas are less developed than others.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on problems, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. This makes the main progression easy to follow. You also use linking expressions such as “Other than that” and “To conclude” to signal relationships between sections. To make the organisation more effective, develop clearer links between individual claims and their explanations; for example, the health effects are listed one after another without showing how they relate. Some transitions are mechanical, and the final paragraph introduces stress-management advice after the main solutions paragraph, so this idea feels added rather than integrated. Use referencing more precisely and group related recommendations together to create smoother progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “sleep schedule,” “health problems,” “physical activity,” “necessary nutrients,” and “stressful situation.” These choices make the response understandable, and you attempt more specific expressions such as “full capacity” and “easing out.” However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “plethoras of options,” “correct the lack of sleep problem,” and “pain in body.” Spelling and form errors such as “headaces,” “proporous,” and “peacefull” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural, precise combinations rather than more elaborate wording: for example, “several options to address sleep problems” is clearer than “plethoras of options.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including the relative clause in “Someone not taking proper sleep often feels tired” and the longer sentence beginning “Also we should try having more conversations.” Most ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors occur in verb agreement, sentence construction, articles, and punctuation. Examples include “People often forgets” and “A person … is tend to face,” where the verb forms do not agree or are incorrectly constructed. Several sentences also join independent ideas with commas, such as the sentence listing morning tiredness and headaches. Review subject–verb agreement, use of articles, and sentence boundaries, and check each sentence for a complete, correctly formed verb phrase.
