Majority of the population complains about not being able to sleep at night, which can become the leading cause of so many health issues. I believe if we incopperate some useful healthy habbits into our lifestyle such as meditating, yoga and increasing healthy food intake we can reduce stress and anxiety helping our body to relax.
Lack of sleep is a growing issue these days in our society, people from all the age groups can suffer from insomnia. When our body doesn't get proper rest and time to relax, it affects all aspects of our private and social life negatively. People who reside in big cities are more likely to have trouble sleeping due to the enormouse hustle and bustle of urban areas. The main cause of insomnia is anxiety and stress in body, which stops the body from feeling relaxed and peacefull. Individuals in today's society especially those who live in big cities have to bear alot of pressure from their workplace or school, collages, and this pressure can cause anxiety, stress and overthinking, which are the biggest reason behind insomnia and depression.
Although, this is a pretty serious problem which can have a negative affect on everyone's mental health, we can take some measures to help mitigate the severity of this issue. Firstly, the biggest contributor to improving sleep-cycle would be having a healthy body by improving the food intake, focusing on consuming healthy meals full of nutrients and protein three time a day can really boost one's immunity. Other factors that can help improve a person's mental and physical health are yoga and meditation, it may not be a permanent solution but it helps the human body to regulate emotions in a healthy way, which can provide a manageable way to deal with everyday pressure and problems.
In conclusion, lack of sleep is the leading cause of depression and social anxiety in people from all sorts of age groups and background, but by spreading awareness about the benefits of different types of therapy and carving out a little time for the betterment of your body and mind everyday, we can tackle this problem and improve our sleep cycle.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you identify stress and anxiety as factors associated with poor sleep, and suggest healthier eating, yoga, meditation, and awareness as responses. The position is clear, and the ideas are relevant. However, the discussion of the problems caused by lack of sleep is less fully developed than the proposed remedies. You mention effects on “all aspects” of life and link insomnia with depression and social anxiety, but do not explain specific consequences such as reduced concentration, workplace or school performance, or physical health. Some claims, including that lack of sleep is the “leading cause” of depression, are stated too broadly. Develop a few effects with clear explanations or examples, and distinguish causes of sleeplessness from its consequences.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to discussion of the issue, possible measures, and a conclusion. Paragraphing generally helps the reader follow the main points, and transitions such as “Firstly” and “In conclusion” signal stages in the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the second paragraph shifts from insomnia’s effects to its causes, while the final paragraph repeats several earlier points rather than drawing them together. Some linking is mechanical, and the opening sentence of the third paragraph begins with “Although” without a clear contrasting clause. Organise each body paragraph around one main purpose, use clearer links between cause, consequence, and solution, and reduce repetition in the conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of vocabulary, including “insomnia,” “anxiety,” “mitigate,” “regulate emotions,” and “hustle and bustle,” which helps communicate the topic. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “the severity of this issue.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “incopperate,” “habbits,” “enormouse,” and “peacefull.” Some expressions are imprecise or unnatural: “anxiety and stress in body” and “biggest reason behind insomnia” could be expressed more accurately, while “boost one’s immunity” does not clearly connect to improving sleep. Aim for accurate spelling and more precise collocations, especially when describing health effects and remedies.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and relative clauses, as in “if we…incorporate…we can reduce stress” and “which stops the body from feeling relaxed.” Meaning is generally clear, and the response shows an ability to connect ideas within longer sentences. Some grammatical errors remain, however. For example, “three time a day” needs plural agreement, and “Although, this is a pretty serious problem…” has incorrect punctuation and an incomplete contrast structure. The sentence beginning “The main cause of insomnia is anxiety and stress in body” also needs an article and clearer grammatical phrasing. Review agreement, articles, and punctuation around subordinating conjunctions, and break up some long sentences to maintain control.
