Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both parts of the question: you identify possible effects, including stress, negative thoughts and reduced productivity, and suggest consulting a doctor and keeping a schedule. These points are relevant, but the discussion is only partly developed. For example, the effects are described generally, without explaining how insufficient sleep affects health or everyday functioning in a specific way. The proposed solutions also need clearer explanation: setting reminders for activities is not directly linked to improving sleep, and the advice about avoiding homemade solutions is not supported. The conclusion repeats the main points but does not add a clear, developed summary. To strengthen the response, explain each problem and show how each practical measure could help.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on problems, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Sequencing is generally clear, and signposts such as “Firstly,” “In addition,” and “However” help the reader follow the shift between topics. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “So here is numerous of drawbacks” does not clearly introduce the ideas that follow, while “As a result” links stress and negative thoughts to a broad claim about personal growth without explaining the relationship. The final sentences also repeat earlier points rather than bringing them together smoothly. Use linking phrases to show precise cause-and-effect relationships, and make sure each sentence develops the paragraph’s main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “insufficient sleep,” “productivity,” “health specialist” and “harmful problem.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “disbalance our body,” “a negative thoughts,” “loose your productivity” and “noticable tips and tricks.” Spelling errors such as “strenth” and “disblance” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural phrases rather than general expressions such as “tips and tricks”; for example, describe specific sleep habits or health effects. Building a small set of accurate topic-related collocations and checking spelling would make your meaning clearer and more appropriate for an IELTS essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer structures, including “not only impact but also can bring…” and the conditional idea “if we take advice from some professionals…,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in agreement, articles, verb forms and sentence construction occur throughout: “few individuals are facing problem,” “there is numerous,” and “stress can be disbalance” are examples. Some sentences are difficult to follow because clauses are joined without a clear grammatical relationship, as in “As a result, that could be become a huge obstacle.” There is also limited variety in accurately controlled sentence patterns. Practise building clear simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses with correct verb forms and agreement. Careful proofreading for articles, plurals and sentence boundaries would improve readability.
