Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both parts of the question: you identify consequences such as reduced concentration, fatigue, chronic illness and weakened immunity, then suggest routine changes and dietary measures. The personal example about feeling tired after insufficient sleep helps make one effect concrete. This meets the task well overall, but some ideas are less fully explained than others. For instance, the claim that night-shift staff have higher rates of obesity and diabetes is relevant, yet the link to disrupted sleep could be explained more carefully. The proposed remedies, especially magnesium and Ashwagandha, are also presented without explaining how reliable or suitable they are. Develop the causes and practical solutions with clearer reasoning and support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on effects, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. The progression from problems to remedies is easy to follow, and examples are generally placed beside the points they support. However, some connections are abrupt or repetitive. The sentence “We need to focus on our sleep schedule” interrupts the discussion of health effects, while “This means, disturbance in sleep regularly cause problems” repeats the preceding point rather than advancing it. Linking phrases such as “For example” are used repeatedly, and references such as “these conditions” in the conclusion are not fully precise. More varied transitions and clearer links between claims would make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “reduced concentration,” “daytime fatigue,” “chronic diseases,” “immune system” and “sleep schedule.” These terms communicate the main ideas, and attempts such as “short-term effects” and “disturbance in sleep” show some ambition. However, several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision: “debatable complain,” “effects my capability,” “negativaly,” and “alot” are examples. Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “healthy diet and medications” as a general solution and “Magnesium level promotes” healthy sleep. Choose more natural combinations and check spelling and word forms. Greater precision in describing remedies would strengthen the vocabulary further.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If untreated can lead to chronic diseases” and clauses beginning “which includes.” Meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include subject–verb agreement in “Sleep have” and “Lack of sleep can causes,” missing or incorrect articles in “at same time,” and agreement in “obesity and diabetes is” and “staff who works.” The opening conditional also needs a clear subject, for example, “If left untreated, lack of sleep can lead…”. The conclusion contains a faulty construction in “measures … can reduced.” Review agreement, articles and verb forms, while continuing to practise complex sentences with complete clauses.
