Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the course, recommending the university, and providing application advice. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the description of the course as 'fully depend on bts software' is unclear, and the recommendation lacks specific personal insight, relying instead on a vague statistic. To improve, ensure that your explanations are more detailed and clearly linked to your friend's needs. While the tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend, the content could be more fully developed to provide a more helpful and convincing response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Thirdly' to structure your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'its top world second university who have a sucess rating'. The use of punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas and periods. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between ideas would help elevate your score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your main points. However, there are several spelling errors ('addmission', 'prgograming', 'secince', 'Enternship', 'channle', 'appling') and some awkward word choices, such as 'I hope you good in health and spirit' instead of 'I hope you are in good health'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations. To reach a higher band, you should focus on accurate spelling and expanding your range of vocabulary to include more precise terms related to university studies and application processes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('its top world second university who have'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('I heard about you that, you want to take addmission'). Punctuation is also a significant issue, with many missing spaces after punctuation marks and incorrect comma usage. While these errors do not completely prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to impede the overall fluency and clarity of your writing.
