Student answer (Band 5.5)
Dear Jasdeep,
How are you. I hope you are doing well. I gotta know about that you are thinking to apply for the course which i did in same university and you know what its the best thing you are thinking about.
So for the course i have few reccomendadtion for you which might be helpful for you for your further process for applying in the university. Firstly, you have two option for the course which i did it was business administration diploma and the another option you have is business marketing diploma in which i know you have little interest. but as you are thinking to do the same course i suggest it will be good because in that course you will also cover the basics of marketing and if in future you want to study more about it you can easily get that course.
Secondly, if we talk about uniersity you chose one of the best from all. Best why? because besides studies our university also give many more extra benifits which are rare in others. Those benifits also helps in our daily life as well like they provide cheaper transits pass as long we are student in the university they also give us free medical care and the fun thing we can do here is they celebrate each and every fesitival even international festivals.
Finally, after all this information i'm pretty sure you are also excited to join this university ASAP. So for that i will help you by guiding you to how to apply for it. at the very first, you need to request for a approval letter by visiting on there website and after that you need to submit your high school details and score to them then you will be ready to start choosing your courses. And the advantage you will get from this university will be you can talk to advisor free of cost and they will also help you from begining of your journey to the end. i hope you will also get a great experience in this university.
Kind regards,
Jasmeet kaur

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three points: you describe the business administration diploma and the marketing option, explain benefits such as discounted transit and medical care, and outline application steps. The friendly tone and closing suit a letter to a friend. However, some details are unclear or not fully developed. For example, “you have two option” does not clearly explain which course you personally took, and the advice to “request for a approval letter” is difficult to interpret as an application step. Explain the course structure and give precise, reliable instructions, such as where to find the application form and what documents to prepare. This would make the relevant ideas clearer and more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: course information, reasons for recommending the university, and application advice appear in separate sections. Sequencing expressions such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Finally” help the reader follow this progression, and the opening and closing establish the letter format. This meets the lower-band expectations and shows some flexibility in organising the information. At times, however, the linking feels mechanical, and long paragraphs contain several ideas without enough separation. The question “Best why?” also interrupts the flow. Use more natural transitions and divide the course and university details into clearer units; make references such as “that course” and “this university” precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main points, including course names and practical benefits such as “free medical care” and “cheaper transit pass.” The language is generally understandable, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making details harder to follow. Examples include “few reccomendadtion,” “extra benifits,” and “request for a approval letter.” Spelling errors such as “uniersity,” “fesitival,” and “begining” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of accurate phrases for courses and applications, and check spelling carefully. Prefer natural expressions such as “some recommendations,” “additional benefits,” and “request an approval letter.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the reader can usually understand the intended message. However, control is inconsistent: complex sentences often contain several grammatical problems, and errors can make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “How are you” needs a question mark, while “you have two option” has a number-agreement error. In “the university also give,” the subject and verb do not agree, and “they also helps” has the same issue. Articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries also need attention. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then add subordinate clauses; proofread agreement, articles, and punctuation.
