Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you identify the subject and level of your course, give reasons for recommending Gujarat University, and outline an application process. The course description is relevant, especially the reference to food composition and nutrients, while the recommendation includes practical experience and experienced professors. This meets the task well, but some details are less fully developed: for example, you could explain what the practical work involved or give a specific example of the university’s support. The application advice is clear but quite brief, and “enrollment latter” leaves the exact document or next step unclear. Adding one or two precise details would make the advice more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter has a clear overall progression: an opening, a paragraph about the course, a recommendation, application advice, and a friendly closing. Paragraphing helps the reader follow the three main points, and transitions such as “Moreover,” “In addition,” and “After that” make the sequence explicit. The tone also remains appropriate for a friend. Some linking is a little mechanical, however, and the opening says “In this letter I will provide you some important information,” which is more formal and formulaic than necessary in a personal letter. You could improve flow by linking related details more naturally and using pronouns or short transitions to avoid repeatedly introducing each point with a connector.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including subject-specific terms such as “vitamins,” “minerals,” “calories,” and “diet plans.” Phrases such as “hands on experiment” and “confidence and skills” also communicate the benefits of the course. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or imprecise, though: “counting of vitamins” is less natural than describing the analysis or measurement of nutrients, and “seniors” does not clearly convey that the professors are experienced. There are also spelling errors in “latter” and “master degree.” These do not prevent understanding, but more precise academic and application-related vocabulary, alongside careful proofreading, would make the letter more fluent and natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple sentences and longer structures, including the relative clause in “which helps you to provide accurate diet plans” and the sequence of instructions in the application paragraph. The main message remains clear, but some grammatical errors persist. For example, “the same course which I did” needs a more suitable verb construction, and “in my master degree” is missing a possessive form or article. In “it is well known and provide,” the verb does not agree with its subject; “based on to learn” also has an incorrect structure. Aim to check articles, agreement, and verb patterns, and vary sentence structures while keeping them accurate. These corrections would strengthen control without changing your clear meaning.
