Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the three requested points: you identify the subject as film-making, give reasons for recommending the university, and offer application instructions. The cinema and the claim that well-known directors graduated there provide relevant support. However, the course details are quite limited, and the recommendation relies partly on general praise such as “the facilities is amazing” rather than explaining what makes the course or university especially suitable. The application advice is also brief and may be incomplete: you mention an online form and photo but give little guidance about other requirements or deadlines. Develop these points with specific, useful details and make your recommendation clearer to your friend.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The letter follows a broadly sensible order, moving from the course and your reasons for choosing it to application advice and a closing. This gives the reader a basic sense of the message. However, most of the information is placed in one long paragraph, so the different points are not clearly separated. Connections between ideas are sometimes abrupt, as in “There is a large cinema. And also…” and “So i decided to enroll here.” Use separate paragraphs for course details, your recommendation, and application advice, and link related ideas more smoothly. Clearer referencing would also help the reader follow whose university and experience you mean.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main message, including “course,” “facilities,” “director,” “enroll,” and “apply.” The language is generally understandable, but the range is limited and several choices or spellings are inaccurate, which can make the letter less clear. For example, “about filming” is repeated, “fill up the form” is not the natural expression in this context, and “heared” and “anf” are misspelled. Some phrases, such as “GoodDay” and “in connection about you,” are also unnatural for a friendly letter. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for describing courses and giving application advice, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response mainly uses simple statements and attempts to connect ideas with clauses such as “because simply i love to take videos.” These structures communicate the general meaning, but control is inconsistent and errors occur frequently. Examples include “I hope you doing okay” (missing “are”), “I am thinking about to get the course” (incorrect verb pattern), and “If you interested to apply” (missing a verb and an appropriate preposition). There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “the facilities is amazing, There is a large cinema.” Use a wider range of sentence patterns, but first practise accurate verb forms, articles, agreement, and punctuation in shorter sentences.
