I SELETECTED THIS PROGRAM WHICH IS WOUND CARE , AS I BELEIEVE THIS WILL BOOST UP MY KNOWLEDGE IN THE FEILD OF SCIENCE AS I WANT TO ARCHIEVE MY GOALS. AS YOU KNOW THAT I AM A REGISTERED NURSE, AS A NURSE I HAVE SOME TASKS WHICH I HAVE TO HAVE SOME COMMON KNOWLEGDE RELATED TO WOUND .THIS COURSE WILL EXPALIN ME THE RIGHT CHOICE OF PRODCUTS WHEN IT COMES TO DIFFERENT KINDS OF WOUNDS . FOR INSTANCE IF A PATIENT ONLY HAVE A CUT ,YOU WILL ONLY NEED A BANDAGE RATHER THAN THE WOUND DRESSING. I WOULD RECOOMEDNT YOU TO APPLY THE SAME UNIVERSITY AS ME AS I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH AND I DISCOVER THIS IS THE ONLY UNIVERSITY WHICH GIVES YOU PRATICAL DEMO AND A 2 MONTHS PLACEMENT IN THE GOVERMENT SETTING , WHICH MEANS NOT ONLY LEARNING THE PROGRAM BUT TO GET PRATICAL SKILLS AS WELL. I WOULD RECOMMENDTO APPLY THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY PORTAL UNDER CARREER OPPORTUNITY SECTION AND YOU CAN ALSO GIVE MY REFERENCE SO THAT THE PROCESS WOULD BE FASTER.

I HOPE THIS LETTER FINDS YOU. HOPE TO SEE YOU IN THE PROGRAM WITH ME.

THANK YOU ,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you identify the subject as wound care, explain that the course develops knowledge relevant to nursing, and recommend the university because it offers practical demonstrations and a two-month placement. Your application advice is also useful, including the university portal and the possibility of using your reference. However, some details are less fully developed: the course description gives only one brief example, and the application guidance does not explain what documents or steps may be needed. The recommendation is clear, but a little more specific information about the university and a warmer, more natural opening and closing would make the letter more complete and effective.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The ideas follow a generally sensible order: you introduce the course, explain its relevance, recommend the university, and then give application advice. Linking phrases such as “For instance,” “as you know,” and “which means” help show how points relate. However, nearly the whole letter is presented as one long block, so the shifts between course details, recommendation, and application advice are not easy to see. Some connections are also repetitive or awkward, particularly the repeated “I would recommend” phrasing and the two consecutive “I hope” sentences at the end. Use separate paragraphs for the main points and clearer transitions to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “registered nurse,” “wound dressing,” “practical skills,” and “placement,” which helps communicate the course’s purpose. There is some attempt at more specific language, but spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, for example “boost up my knowledge,” “practical demo,” and “government setting.” Errors such as “intereseted,” “seletected,” and “recoomendnt” can distract the reader, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Aim to check spelling carefully and choose more natural collocations. A broader set of accurate terms for course content and application requirements would also make the letter more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a reason clause with “as” and an example introduced by “For instance.” The main message is generally understandable, but some sentence structures are faulty or difficult to follow. For example, “as a nurse I have some tasks which I have to have some common knowledge” is awkwardly constructed, and “if a patient only have a cut” has an agreement error. Several sentences run together without clear punctuation, making relationships between clauses less clear. Work on building shorter, complete sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and articles, and using commas and full stops to separate ideas. This will improve accuracy while preserving your attempts at complex structures.
