Student answer (Band 5.5)
I agreed to it that many people will choose to go for vacation in their own country rather than travel abroad for holiday and i believe it will create more revenue to the country.
Yes from my own point of view many people are already doing that in my country they go to their home town with their children to show them their origin. I think most people do that so that children would not forget their origin; many people will also be doing that because of the creative concept of tourist center that are being build in my states for example kinimajaro center here in Akure most people in the western country are coming for visitation for relaxing and view of natural asentria things.
in the future, most people will stay back at home for their holiday instead of paying milions for same things they will experience in traving to another country because my own counrty is creating a well struture garden for peole to visit and relax for vacation purpose. The place is combination of enjoyment and leaning about Yoruba tradition and its will be a good place to visit with friends and family to known about indiginious life of a Yoruba kingdom. The beginning of all the yoruba kings is present there and the historical books for proper understanding of olden days tradition.
in conclusion i think it's will be best for everyone to bring back home alive by doing vacation in all the states of the country to have a better knowledge of our origin because most people don't know much about it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that more people will holiday domestically, and you give relevant reasons, including lower costs, visiting one’s hometown, and learning about Yoruba history. The examples of a tourist centre in Akure and a garden combining recreation with cultural learning help connect your argument to a specific setting. However, the reasons are not developed evenly. The point about children learning their origins is explained, while the claim that domestic tourism will create more revenue is introduced but not supported with an explanation or example. Some statements about what “most people” will do are also broad. Explain how these attractions and savings are likely to influence future choices, and support each main reason more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an overall structure, moving from your opinion to supporting examples and then a conclusion. Paragraphs broadly group related material, and phrases such as “for example” and “in conclusion” signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within the body paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the ideas about hometown visits, children’s origins, tourist centres, and future holiday choices run together, with limited explanation of how one leads to the next. Some linking is also repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “because” and “most people.” Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then explain and illustrate it. Clearer sentence boundaries and more precise references would make the connections easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “vacation,” “tourist center,” “Yoruba tradition,” and “historical books,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “bring back home alive,” “natural asentria things,” and “well struture garden.” Spelling errors, including “milions,” “traving,” and “indiginious,” also make parts of the message harder to understand. Aim for precise, familiar expressions rather than attempting phrases whose meaning is uncertain. Proofread spelling and check collocations, especially when describing attractions, cultural heritage, and the benefits of domestic tourism.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations with “because” and a relative clause in “the historical books for proper understanding of olden days tradition.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “I agreed to it” does not fit naturally with the future opinion, and “it’s will be best” combines incompatible forms. In “tourist center that are being build,” the relative clause has agreement and verb-form problems. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses only when you can control their structure. Check subject–verb agreement and verb forms during revision.
