Student answer (Band 6.0)

The trend to go on trips and visit different places on world are becoming normal and it will increase with time. I agree that people will choose to go on unexplored places of own country in upcoming time.

To begin with, there are two benefits to visit own country places. The first one is there are noo need to go through any long and hectic immigration process and travel. The second reason is, in a budget of one trip to abroad, one can adjust the more days or more places for own country trips. For instance, if you choose the package of Europe trip, the trip its self around 3000 CAD or more per head. But if you choose the package to travel in Canada, it will cost you less then that and you also can visit more days and places.

In addition to that, internet made this wolrd so small. Thus, anyone who want to travel abroad, they have more adventerious and unexplored spots which they never attend but foreigners are visiting there. Those places are more popular and easy to plan a trip there. For example, I never been to The Tajmahal, one of the wonder of world. Nowadays, foreigners are coming any season throught a year and they are makin this monument popular. So it is obvious for anyone to take a chance to know their vital places.

To conclude, people will support their own country economically by visiting the places which are still unexplored and having the knowledge of culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that more people will holiday in their own country, and you give relevant reasons, including avoiding immigration procedures and making a trip more affordable. The comparison between a Europe package and travel within Canada helps illustrate the cost point, while the Taj Mahal example supports your discussion of domestic attractions. However, the response does not fully explain why these trends will grow in the future; the point about the internet and foreigners visiting local sites is not clearly connected to that prediction. Some ideas, especially the economic benefit in the conclusion, are asserted rather than developed. Explain the cause-and-effect links more fully and ensure each example directly supports your view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The first body paragraph groups the practical and financial reasons, and transitions such as “To begin with” and “In addition to that” make the main stages easy to follow. However, some connections between ideas are unclear. In the second body paragraph, the shift from internet access to foreigners visiting the Taj Mahal does not clearly show why domestic holidays will become more common. The conclusion also introduces economic support and cultural knowledge without summarising how the earlier reasons establish these outcomes. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and make the conclusion reflect the argument already developed.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of travel-related vocabulary, including “immigration process,” “budget,” “unexplored spots,” and “culture,” which allows you to communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “hectic immigration process.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “adventerious,” “wolrd,” “throught,” and “attend” where “visit” is intended. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “go on unexplored places” and “the trip its self.” These choices sometimes make the reader pause, even though the overall meaning remains understandable. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for travel, such as “visit places” and “take a trip abroad.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if you choose the package” and a relative clause in “places which are still unexplored.” The overall message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “people who want to travel abroad, they have” has an unnecessary repeated subject, and “I never been” needs an auxiliary verb. There are also issues with articles, agreement and sentence construction, as in “one of the wonder of world” and “anyone who want.” These errors do not usually prevent understanding, but they limit accuracy. Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement, articles and verb forms.
