Student answer (Band 6.5)
In the years, people will prefer their home country to enjoy their vacations rather than planning the trip for another country. This essay will discuss the reasons behind this trend and I completely agree with this statement.
It is believed that, they want to be gain more knowledge about their cultures from the different regions of their own country. To elaborate, the people do research either on the culture or on the living style of others. For instance, India is the country which is full of the diversity, people love to share their culture through the folk dance, food and music. When families will travel from one state to another state they have a great chance to enhance their knowledge on various cultures. As a result, this will encourage them to not only gain the knowledge on diversity but also have an opportunity to spend time with the family.
What is more, hometown travelling is affordable and best idea to enjoy the various views .People can be use their own vehicles instead of buying the tickets of the airline and while, travelling they can stop on the specific places to enjoy the views. For example, I have some plans for the trip of the Leh Ladakh through a bike. In future, I will plan my whole trip which would be budget friendly for me and add stops to see the lifestyle of other creature of the life and sunset and sunrise.
Therefore, it is a cost- effective and golden chance to explore various cultures of their own country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The essay addresses the prompt by expressing a clear agreement with the statement. The ideas regarding cultural exploration and cost-effectiveness are relevant and supported by examples, such as the mention of India's diversity and a personal plan for a trip to Leh Ladakh. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation of 'living style of others' and 'other creature of the life' is vague and lacks depth. To reach a higher band, you should expand on how these factors specifically influence the future trend of domestic tourism rather than just stating they are benefits. The position is consistent throughout, but the overall development is slightly thin.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central theme. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To elaborate', 'For instance', and 'What is more' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'In the years' at the beginning, which does not clearly establish a timeframe. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth transitions, making the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'they', 'this') is always clear would help improve the flow and coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'diversity', 'folk dance', and 'cost-effective'. However, there are instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'hometown travelling' (domestic tourism), 'buying the tickets of the airline' (booking flights), and 'other creature of the life' (local people/lifestyle). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your expression. To improve, focus on learning common collocations related to travel and tourism to sound more natural and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the diversity', 'the Leh Ladakh'), verb forms ('people can be use'), and prepositions. For example, 'India is the country which is full of the diversity' contains unnecessary articles. Furthermore, there are issues with subject-verb agreement and word order. While these errors are noticeable, they rarely prevent the reader from understanding your main points. To progress, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like article usage and verb tense consistency.
