Student answer (Band 6.5)

In time to come, a lot if individuals will prefer to visit their home country vacation. I vehemently disagree to this. Because what interest people on their choice of place to visit during holiday are attractive nature of the place and the memory that will be created

Vacation or holiday is a time for relaxing and cooling off from the stress of work or academic studies. individuals mostly search for best attractive places globally to spend their free time with family and loved ones. I do not agree that these will tilt toward spending more holiday in their home country. Rather, might want to visit places like Dubia and the worm spring in Enugu Nigeria. Just to make sure they experience other cultures, weather and people that are not their countrymen.

Furthermore, leisure time is a moment to create a lasting memory with people that are dear to you, as such, we always want to look for a place that is not familiar. Travelling to world sightseeing centers and beautiful environment will tend to make the emotional time together worthwhile. For example, after our wedding in 2025, I and my wife travelled to Saudi Arabia to visit a zoo in Riyadh. people have told us how interesting it is to visit the place, and we will never forget the lovely time together during that period and the lasting memory it has created in us.

In conclusion, although there might be important places people will visit during holiday in their home countries, I strongly believe that in the future, more others will still prefer to go attractive places in other countries and make a lasting memory.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have clearly stated your position against the prompt and maintained it throughout the essay. You provided relevant reasons, such as the desire for cultural exposure and the creation of lasting memories. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the example of your wedding trip to Saudi Arabia is personal and relevant, but the explanation of why this supports your argument could be more detailed. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more depth and analysis rather than just stating the preference.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'In conclusion' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the connection between ideas is slightly abrupt, such as the transition between the first and second paragraphs. The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, which affects the overall progression of your argument. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions would enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, such as 'vehemently', 'worthwhile', and 'sightseeing centers'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'attractive nature of the place' instead of 'attractiveness' or 'scenic beauty', and 'worm spring' (likely a spelling error for 'warm spring'). Some phrases are repetitive, and the vocabulary lacks the precision required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more sophisticated synonyms for common words like 'good' or 'interesting'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'a lot if individuals' (spelling/preposition error), 'Because what interest people' (subject-verb agreement), and 'I and my wife' (should be 'my wife and I'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. You should focus on subject-verb agreement, correct pronoun usage, and proofreading for basic spelling mistakes to improve your accuracy.
