Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern world, a number of changes are taking place regarding holiday. some of these changes bring benefits. while other have negatives effects .In the future, more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday. I personally agree with the statement to some extent.
To commence ,the most prominent reason for my belief that more people will take on holiday in future time. They want to travel domestic flight it is very cheap for them and they will save the money and time. in their own hotel and transport will more affordable. They will not need a passport or visa for travelling in own country as well as more people will travel easily to them.
moving further another significant reason that more pupils will take travel on holidays time in their own country. They will travel take the less time and will not take the stress in own country. They will travel with family and will enjoyable together. I am fully agree with that will increasing the own knowledge or experience by travelling in their own country.
Conversely , its is also possible to make on opposing case. it also trend to believe more people will not travel abroad on holidays because I will give the example it will be expensive and there will lot of different culture campare to their own country. it will be difficult take the visa for people .they will take more time for traveling. They will not like travel alone without family another country.
To conclude, holidays has both pros and cons. on balance however it should made sure that the positives are promoted and negatives are eliminated.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a position, but the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. While you mention benefits like cost and convenience, the arguments are not fully supported with specific examples or detailed explanations. For instance, the point about 'domestic flights' is mentioned but not expanded upon to explain why this shift is occurring. The conclusion is generic and does not effectively summarise the main points of your argument. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea that directly supports your thesis statement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'To commence' and 'moving further'. There are also issues with referencing; for example, the phrase 'travel easily to them' is unclear in context. The logical progression between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors, making the flow feel disjointed. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') and ensuring they are used naturally would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'good', 'bad', and 'travel', and there are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'take on holiday' instead of 'go on holiday' and 'make on opposing case' instead of 'present an opposing view'. Spelling errors, such as 'campare', also occur. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to tourism and economics.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'holidays has both pros and cons'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'it also trend to believe'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic sentence construction and verb tense consistency.
