Student answer (Band 6.5)
One of the pressing concern widely discussed nowadays among several people is that more and more people would rather choose to go on excursion within their own nation rather then international countries. From my perspective, I completely disagree with the statement as travelling to abroad can be beneficial in numerous ways. Apart from exploration and adventurous activities, it enhances linguistic skills, expands learnings about cross-culture and certainly it also proliferates exchange of thoughts and values.
To commence with, despite the fact, India has tremendously beautiful in terms of tranquility, serene environment from lush green forests, beaches to outrageous mountains. Moreover, there are plenty of architectural temple, monuments and vivid hierarchies in culture and traditions found in every corner of the nation which allures visitors from all over the world. To exemplify better, India has ranked in top 10 ten list of tourist attraction places in all over the world.
Nevertheless, trips and tours break the monotony of life.
Besides the purpose of rejuvenation, people also travel for business related purpose, to attend events related to sports or for their respective domains and increase knowledge in terms of language, virtues, mindfulness. Additionally, there are plenty of jobs which provides autonomy to workers to work remotely while on expedition like business person, Chartered accountant, people who are indulged into stock market and many other as well. With an optimistic mindset, people often considered it as an opportunity and love to travel around the world. To cite an example, people would be more persuasive towards other site seeing of the world such as 7 wonders of the world which widely well known globally.
To recapitulate, there is no doubt that country India has enormous places to travel but it is essential for individual to break their boundaries and broaden their horizons which can benefit in personal development and for future prospects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have clearly stated your position and addressed the prompt. However, the development of your ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While you provide reasons for traveling abroad, the second paragraph focuses heavily on the beauty of India, which is slightly tangential to your argument against staying in one's own country. To improve, ensure that every paragraph directly supports your thesis. You mention benefits like 'linguistic skills' and 'cross-culture' learning, but these points could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis to reach a higher band. The conclusion effectively summarizes your stance, but ensure the body paragraphs maintain a tighter focus on the prompt's core question.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
Your essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and you use some cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'To recapitulate'. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly forced, such as 'Nevertheless, trips and tours break the monotony of life', which appears abruptly at the start of the third paragraph. The flow between ideas could be smoother. Additionally, some sentences are slightly disjointed, making the progression of your argument feel a bit fragmented. Improving the variety and natural placement of linking words will help your ideas connect more fluidly and improve the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate a good range of vocabulary, using terms like 'proliferates', 'tranquility', 'rejuvenation', and 'autonomy'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'outrageous mountains' (where 'majestic' or 'imposing' would be more appropriate) and 'people would be more persuasive towards other site seeing' (which is unclear). You also have some minor errors in word forms, such as 'architectural temple' instead of 'architectural temples'. While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, more precise and natural word choices would elevate your score significantly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a variety of sentence structures, including complex sentences. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'India has tremendously beautiful' (missing a verb), 'there are plenty of architectural temple' (pluralization error), and 'people often considered it' (tense inconsistency). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and prepositional phrases, such as 'in top 10 ten list'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall clarity and professionalism of your writing. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage will help improve your accuracy.
