Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the upcoming future, it is believed that instead of travelling out of the country huge number of people will choose to travel in their own nation during vacation. In my opinion I strongly agrre with it. My points of justifications and supporting ideas are provided in the ensuing paragraphs.
To begin with, nowadays, the costs of travelling abroad are skyrocketting which is not affordable for every. The hotel booking, air travel are becoming more expensive than before. One person have to save lots of money from months just to spend few days on vacation in other nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 180 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, as the essay is incomplete and ends abruptly mid-sentence. While you clearly state your position in the introduction, the arguments regarding travel costs and immigration policies are under-developed. To reach a higher band, you must provide a full, balanced discussion and ensure the essay is completed. The lack of a proper conclusion and the insufficient length prevent the response from fully addressing all parts of the task, leading to a lower score in this criterion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay shows some basic logical organization, using transition signals like 'To begin with' and 'Moreover' to introduce points. However, the progression is interrupted by the incomplete nature of the text. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph is non-existent, which disrupts the overall flow. Cohesive devices are used in a somewhat mechanical way. To improve, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that ideas are linked more fluidly. The abrupt ending makes it difficult to assess the overall coherence, as the argument is not brought to a logical close.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some relevant terms like 'skyrocketing' and 'immigration policies', but there are noticeable errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'agrre', 'witht he', and 'imigrations'. These errors do not necessarily impede communication, but they demonstrate a lack of control over more complex lexical items. To improve, focus on accurate spelling and try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations related to the topic of tourism and international travel.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies on a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'One person have to' (subject-verb agreement), 'in the present time' (awkward phrasing), and 'there is mass deportation is going' (redundant verb usage). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the grammatical control is inconsistent. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and sentence construction. Reducing the frequency of these errors will help improve the clarity of your writing and allow for a more professional tone.
