Student answer (Band 5.0)

Holidays spend in own country more popular in future rather than travel abroad for spend holidays. I totally agree with this statement.

As I see that now days more people are interested in exploring their own country. Because country where you live give more freedom to travel then other countries. like in our India there are lot of places to visited and we have 128 pulse culture and languages. so, we have 1000 pulse visiting places which give us memories so why we go other country to see natural beauty as we already have it. For example, taj Mahle in Agra is best tourist place, so we rise our county economy by visiting there.

According to money concern also more people are interested to spend holidays in their own country because its always affordable to in own and air tickets of other countries also expensive and also spend money on good and luxury hotel is better option then air ticket.

Moreover, holidays spend with family are more treading these days as compared to travel with friends. Because in modern year we see all we are busy in our working place in our job and we have no time for our families. This is the big change in our modern society that families suffer more in todays time and holidays is golden time when we meet all requirements of our families.

In conclusion, spend time with families and relatives are major reason why people change mind set about spend holidays in their birthplace country rather than any international trip holidays. Secondly its easy to spend your holidays in own hometown in case of money matter, languages and you already know rules and ragulations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of domestic tourism. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While you provide reasons such as cost-effectiveness and cultural exploration, the argument regarding family time is less relevant to the core question of why people choose domestic over international travel. The essay would benefit from more focused supporting details; for instance, the mention of '128 pulse culture' is unclear and detracts from the clarity of your argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that every paragraph directly supports your main thesis and avoid tangential points about family dynamics.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'According to money concern' and 'In modern year' are awkward and do not effectively link ideas. Additionally, the transition between the idea of domestic tourism and family time is abrupt. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to the main argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as '128 pulse culture' (likely meant 'diverse') and 'money concern' (should be 'financial considerations'). You rely on basic phrasing, which limits your ability to express complex ideas with precision. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to tourism, such as 'domestic travel', 'budget-friendly', 'cultural heritage', and 'international destinations'. Expanding your range of collocations will help you convey your points more naturally and effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('country... give'), incorrect verb forms ('places to visited'), and missing articles ('in own', 'in modern year'). While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors in structure and punctuation. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, particularly the use of articles and verb tenses. Proofreading for common errors like pluralization and preposition usage will significantly enhance the clarity and professional tone of your writing.
