Student answer (Band 5.0)
Traveling plays a crucial role in everyone life. In the future, on the holidays many individuals will go their own county instead of foreign Nation. I completely disagree with statement, i think we need to go foreign county for spending holidays.
The prominent reason why we need to spend our holidays in other country, if we travel to other nations then we can grab lots of things like new language, confidence while talking to foreign individuals, and explore new things. Also, we feel relax while traveling because nowadays many people are very busy in there jobs as well as stressed .
Other prominent reason is that, if we explore new country then definitely we can get an opportunity to find the new jobs and could be handsome salary . For example, many people get good job package in other county while traveling. Spend their life with full of joy.
We can explore new culture and traditions and learn about different people religions. However, make good relationships with other county people and make a memoriable trip and share stores with their friends and family memories.
In conclusion, i would like to reiterate that although making trips to the other country having wonderful joy and making memory while taking pics and videos. Also, change their thoughts toward the foreign people, like how they think, how they treat and many more things.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that people will only holiday domestically. However, the essay is under the 250-word minimum, which significantly limits the development of ideas. While you provide reasons such as cultural exchange and career opportunities, these points are underdeveloped and lack specific, illustrative examples. The conclusion is somewhat repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To improve, ensure you expand on each point with concrete details and meet the word count requirement to allow for a more thorough exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'Other prominent reason is that' and 'Also'. Some sentences lack logical flow, particularly in the final paragraph where the connection between ideas is disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult to track the subject matter. To improve, use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects logically to the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'foreign Nation' instead of 'foreign countries' and 'grab lots of things' which is too informal for an IELTS essay. You also struggle with word forms, such as 'memoriable' (memorable) and 'stores' (stories). While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the limited range of vocabulary prevent a higher score. Focus on learning collocations and using more academic synonyms to express your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include missing articles ('in everyone life'), incorrect verb forms ('we feel relax'), and subject-verb agreement errors. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary commas and capitalization issues. These errors are frequent and occasionally make the text difficult to read. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles, before attempting more complex structures.
