Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention family time and cultural preservation, the arguments lack depth and specific, illustrative examples. The 'report of survey' mentioned is vague and does not provide a concrete example to support your point. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph contains a fully developed argument with a clear explanation and a specific, real-world example. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not add new insight or summarize the main points effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Moving further of this phenomenon' or 'To be more clear'. Some transitions feel forced, and the logical flow between sentences could be smoother. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the internal structure of paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more naturally rather than relying on repetitive structures.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations. For example, 'roving one place to another' is not standard English, and 'devoting their work holidays' is unnatural. There are also minor errors in word form, such as 'to be travelled'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on learning common collocations and more sophisticated synonyms will help improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'roving... become easier'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'more than half percent'). Punctuation is generally functional, but some sentences are fragmented or run-on. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like article usage and verb tense consistency, which currently detract from the overall clarity of your writing.
