Student answer (Band 6.0)
The advancement of internet is the most concerning issue in all parts of the world. In the upcoming days, most of the individuals will be choosing to explore their own nations without going to aboard. I agree with statement and the reasons behind this will be highlighted in the fourth coming paragraphs.
Firstly, internet is main reasons for the individuals for not going to aboard because nowadays, everyone is using internet and watching videos related traveling, then they get information that there are so many different places in our nation to explore which is not famous yet. For example, with the help of internet they can locate and go there without any fear. Secondly, while traveling to outside is quite expensive. So, most of they think that without spending much capital outside staying in hotels, flights and having restrictions so they feel more comfortable to travel in there own nation.
Furthermore, other reason is convenience, traveling to aboard it requires visas, checking, passports, currency exchange and other documents. Travellers may also experience language barriers, and unfamiliar customs when visiting another country. By comparison, travelling within one's own country is usually easier because people already understand the language, culture, and local regulations. This can make their holidays less stressful and more enjoyable
In conclusion, In conclusion, I agree that a greater number of people will probably choose to spend their holidays in their own countries in the future. Lower costs, greater convenience, and increased interest in local attractions are likely to encourage this trend, although travelling abroad will continue to be popular.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The ideas regarding the role of the internet, cost, and convenience are relevant and supported with examples. However, the development is somewhat superficial; for instance, the link between the internet and domestic tourism could be more deeply explored. The introduction contains an irrelevant opening sentence about the internet being a 'concerning issue,' which does not directly relate to the topic of holiday trends. Overall, the response covers all parts of the task, but the depth of argument is consistent with a Band 6.0 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'Firstly,' 'Secondly,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some mechanical issues with cohesion, such as the repetitive 'In conclusion, In conclusion' at the start of the final paragraph. Additionally, some referencing is slightly awkward, such as 'most of they think,' which disrupts the flow. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the mechanical nature of the linking words keeps this within the Band 6.0 range.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'going to aboard' (should be 'going abroad'), 'fourth coming' (should be 'forthcoming'), and 'spending much capital' (which is slightly unnatural in this context). While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and the student relies on basic structures. To reach a higher band, the student needs to use more precise collocations and avoid repetitive errors in word form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Examples include 'The advancement of internet' (missing article), 'I agree with statement' (missing article), and 'most of they think' (incorrect pronoun usage). Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are also inconsistent. While the meaning is usually conveyed, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. A greater focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy is required.
