Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many Individuals would plan to go on a holiday in their own nation instead of travelling to another country. Even though it saves money, but travelling abroad will help them to learn many things and give a idea for your future.
People are really worried to plan a international trip because of the high price range, they have to pay more for flight ticket price, foods and for the place to stay, But If they travel to other province in their country it is more affordable and cheap. Moreover, they can reduce travel time and explore more places. For example, Citizens in India mostly plan vacation to other province, they also have locations similar to Bali, China and other places, Instead of going to exact places they just travel places looks similar to that, through this they don't have to break the bank.
On the other hand, people who are not travel abroad, It is not possible to learn another country's culture and history, every country has its own culture, food and monuments, if individuals are not curious about to visit another nation they wont learn about them and they wont understand what are the opportunities they have for us. For example, In Australia people wishes to travel to Europe counties through this they are exploring different places and learning new things like their culture and language. furthermore, some people wishes to stay there and do job because of the career opportunities, if they didn't travel, they might not know about these, which will enhance the people's lives.
In conclusion, Going for a vacation in same country will save your money, but if you travel abroad it will help you to learn new things and give an idea to work abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument regarding domestic versus international travel. However, the position is not clearly stated in the introduction; the writer presents a balanced view but does not explicitly state which side they agree with, which is a requirement for a higher band. While the ideas are relevant, the development is somewhat repetitive, particularly in the conclusion. The examples provided, such as citizens in India or Australians traveling to Europe, are relevant but could be more deeply analyzed to fully support the arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'On the other hand', and 'furthermore'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the transition 'Even though it saves money, but...' which contains a redundant conjunction. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be improved to ensure a more natural progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'travel', 'places', and 'countries'. Some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'give a idea for your future' or 'break the bank' (which is an idiom, but used in a slightly informal context). There are also minor errors in word formation and collocation, such as 'people who are not travel abroad' instead of 'people who do not travel abroad'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's flow. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('some people wishes to stay'), incorrect verb forms ('people who are not travel abroad'), and punctuation errors, such as comma splices and the misuse of capitalization after commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. More attention to basic sentence construction and verb tense consistency is needed.
