Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the 21st century, globalization is increasing at a rapid rate. It has made travelling to foreign countries a lot more common. However, some parts of the world are arguing that in the coming years more folks will go on vacation in their own nation rather than going abroad. I partially agree with the statement. In this essay I am going to explore both points.
On one hand side, one part is saying that more folks will travel to their own country, due to the inflation is skyrocketing. The cost of plane tickets, hotels and traveling expenses will become much higher in the coming years. Moreover, individuals are concern about their health and safety. For example, COVID-19 spread across the world due to the travelling of individuals in the various parts of the world, and after that people have become more concerned about their health and safety, thus they will avoid going to other nations.
On the other hand side, other part is stating that individuals will travel more to foreign countries, because of exploration, folks are becoming more curious about other parts of the earth and want to know about different cultures and ethnicities, so they are more willing to travel to foreign lands. Furthermore, at the rate globalization is increasing, travelling will become more usual in the future and maybe with the more technological advancements travelling will become more easy and convenient.
To recapitulate, there are various reasons that people are arguing that travelling will get limited to only one nation, whereas multiple parts state that it will become more easy. I believe that both side's reasons are worth considering and it will heavily depend on technological improvements.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument. However, the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention inflation and health concerns, these points are not fully explored with deep analysis or specific, illustrative examples beyond a brief mention of COVID-19. Your position is stated as 'partially agree,' but the conclusion remains neutral rather than clearly advocating for a specific viewpoint, which limits the depth of the task response. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of the 'why' and 'how' behind your arguments, rather than just listing them.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On one hand side,' 'Moreover,' and 'To recapitulate' to transition between ideas. However, some of these phrases are slightly unnatural or repetitive. The logical progression is generally clear, but the connection between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between the discussion of inflation and health safety in the first body paragraph is a bit abrupt. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is precise would help elevate the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'globalization,' 'ethnicities,' and 'technological advancements.' However, there are some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'On one hand side' (should be 'On the one hand') and 'travelling will become more usual' (should be 'more common' or 'widespread'). The use of 'folks' is too informal for an IELTS essay, which requires a more academic tone. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise, academic collocations would improve your score significantly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'due to the inflation is skyrocketing' (should be 'due to the fact that inflation is skyrocketing') and 'travelling will become more easy' (should be 'easier'). There are also minor issues with article usage and prepositional phrases. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher band score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct formation of comparative adjectives to improve your accuracy.
