Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 6.5)
A growing number of people believe that individuals will prefer domestic travelling in the future instead of abroad trips for holiday. I partially agree with the given statement, as own country trip will access them to spend short term holidays and gain in-depth information regarding their country's history, cultures and traditions, whereas foreign trips will allow them to explore new environment, customs and tourist attractions. Therefore, it would be difficult to discourage the people for abroad travelling.
On the one hand, travel to own country has its own benefits. To begin with, it will offers them an opportunity to discover important tourist locations and gain more details about their own cultures, history, social morals and etiquettes. Sometimes they can spend more time by exploring familiar places in their home country instead of contributing time for arrangement for accommodation and transport. Apart from that, domestic trips will most probably mitigate the chance of health issues because they are already same atmosphere. And it is convenient and affordable as compare to foreign travel, because they don't have to pay for the visa fees, book flight tickets and don't required passport. For example, visiting Shimla would be comfort during summer vacation to get relief from hot days and watch captivating view of snow mountains and natural beauty.
On the other hand, international travelling has its own advantages. Firstly, it will provide visitors new environment, food style, dressing sense, language, cultures and many more things, which would be hard to see in their own country. For example, travelling to the UK will be access them chance to discover different architecture, breathtaking view of natural beauty and broaden their knowledge about diverse social customs, modern technologies and living style. As a result, they can adapt new trend and improve their standard of living by adapting latest dressing style. It will brings educational benefits for them, because they can migrate to travelling place in the future for higher study or better job opportunities.
In conclusion, domestic travel facilitate them to discover each and every par of their country, enjoy small holidays with their family, and free from the complex visa and passport procedure. However, in the future, a number of people still arrange abroad trips for exploring new environment, tourist locations, gaining details about various cultures, art and craft.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by providing a balanced view on domestic versus international travel. You clearly state your position in the introduction and maintain it throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant and supported by examples, such as mentioning Shimla for domestic travel and the UK for international travel. However, some points could be developed further; for instance, the link between international travel and 'improving standard of living' is a bit vague. Overall, the task is well-addressed, and the position is clear and consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader through your argument. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are occasional issues with referencing and flow, such as the sentence 'And it is convenient and affordable as compare to foreign travel,' which feels disconnected from the previous point. Paragraphing is used effectively to separate the two sides of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'mitigate,' 'captivating,' and 'diverse.' However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'own country trip will access them to spend' (should be 'allow them to'), 'dressing sense' (should be 'fashion sense'), and 'it will brings' (subject-verb agreement error). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over vocabulary and collocations to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('it will offers,' 'it will brings,' 'they don't required') and preposition usage. Additionally, there are minor errors in article usage and sentence construction. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical consistency would significantly improve your score.
