Student answer (Band 5.0)
The holiday is the great time that the people are waiting for. There are two choices of spending the holiday in their own country or travel abroad. I agree that the people will choose to go on holiday in their own country int next few decades. In the next paragraphs I will shed some light on this view.
The first point is our countries have lots of places that deserve to discover. That means we support the local tourism and develop the income of our government and that led the government to do more projects and enhance the enviorenment. Additionally, we should encourage our children to know their countries well and see its beauty and that make them related to their country strongly.
Another benefit is you can save money because the budget when you go holiday in you country is little while when you travel abroad it will costs you lot of money such as tickets and booking in hotels and for food, also the prices in holiday getting rise.
In conclusion, I think in the future the people will prefer to spend their holiday in their countries and I strongly agree the view.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 195 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, which remain superficial and under-developed. While you have stated a clear position, the arguments regarding local tourism and cost savings are not supported with sufficient detail or specific examples. To improve, you must expand your points by explaining the 'why' and 'how' behind your claims. For instance, instead of simply stating that local travel saves money, you could provide a hypothetical scenario or a comparison of costs to add depth and meet the length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and limited. Transitions like 'The first point is' and 'Another benefit is' are functional but repetitive. To achieve a higher band, you should aim for a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more fluidly. Additionally, ensure that the progression of ideas within paragraphs is logical; currently, some sentences feel disconnected, such as the transition between supporting local tourism and the environmental impact.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing, such as 'great time' and 'lots of places'. There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'int next few decades' (in the next) and 'enviorenment' (spelling). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'domestic tourism', 'economic stimulation', or 'financial constraints', and ensure you check your spelling carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'The holiday is the great time that the people are waiting for' (article usage), 'that led the government to do' (tense consistency), and 'it will costs you' (subject-verb agreement). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to lower the score. Focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and article usage, and try to incorporate more complex sentence forms, such as conditional clauses, to demonstrate greater control.
