Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays era, everyone is living in their stressful life and to get break from stress people usually go for trip to travel inside their own county or travel outside. Their is a theory that the next generation will travel in their own country for vacation rather to travel outside countries. I disagree with that statement and give my strong views in following paragraphs.
To Embark with, Technology is rising day by day inn every sector like in airport. It is easy to do everything related to travel like visa, online checked in and many more. As compare to past where a person had to wait in long line for check in as well as to take visa had a long process as went to embassy to did all Where as today it is all done at home through online or you can book an appointment . As a result it will save time and stress relief process.
Moving further, people's are following what is in trending through social media that are Instagram, Snapchat and a lot more so to influence from the videos of eye catching view will motivate them to travel to that place more. To add on, there are some agents who helps to plan and book a trip for people so that they travel comfortable and enjoy their trip stress free and everything is organized.
To conclude, as for today the demand for traveling abroad is in positive trend and will increase in future as well because people want stress free and organized trip which will done by agent and in cheap price so they prefer to travel abroad for holiday more then a week where as for two day travel people prefer to travel local.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that domestic tourism will replace international travel. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention technology and social media as reasons for the continued growth of international travel, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. For instance, you mention 'eye catching view' but do not explain how this specifically drives international rather than domestic tourism. The conclusion introduces a new point about the duration of trips (short vs. long) which was not previously discussed, making the argument feel slightly disjointed. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-supported reason that directly links back to your main thesis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often hindered by awkward transitions and phrasing. Phrases like 'To Embark with' are non-standard and distract the reader. While you use some cohesive devices such as 'Moving further' and 'To conclude', the connections between sentences are sometimes mechanical or unclear. Referencing is occasionally confusing, such as in the final paragraph where the pronoun 'which' refers back to a complex idea in a way that is grammatically ambiguous. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally into the next will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary range is limited and there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation. For example, 'stress relief process' is not a natural collocation, and 'travel inside their own county' (likely meaning country) is a spelling error. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with more precise academic terms. Phrases like 'do everything related to travel' are overly simplistic. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise collocations and academic vocabulary. Avoid informal phrasing and ensure that you are using words in their correct context to convey your meaning more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('people's are following'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence structures ('as went to embassy to did all'). The use of complex sentences is attempted, but these often contain errors, such as 'as compare to past where a person had to wait'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures. Proofreading for common errors like article usage and verb tense consistency would also be highly beneficial.
