Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this contemporary world, holidays play a vital role in people's lives since vacation offers several benefits towards relief in stress and workdays. Individuals will prefer to visit such places which are located in their own country rather than exploring foreign country. While I agree to some extent since it contains few reasons of exploring abroad states. Thus, this essay will explain reasons behind both sides in the forth coming paragraphs.
The first and foremost reason is economic benefits. Foreign trips includes high budge due to escalating demand of exploring foreign, flights tickets, immigration process, convertible currency and hotel bookings, whereas local vacation are cost-effective as it visitors can access various way of transportation such as cars and trains which are more convenient alternative for families. In addition, environmental concerns become a significant reason behind travelling in domestic country because carbon footprints are become less effective as not only minimal use of fuel but also avoiding flights which carry lots of pollution in itself.
On the other hand, despite having expensive, foreign vacations are still chosen by the majority of people in order to social status and digital media. To elaborate, by visiting foreign nation, people could influence others by uploading their digital image which eventually increase their reputation as rich folks who are capable of affording high-cost trips.
In conclusion, local trips will encourage by society as it is affordable as well as less stressful in terms of documentation and exchange rates. However, social status and digital media remain significate reasons towards exploring foreign land.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both domestic and international travel. However, the position is somewhat inconsistent. In the introduction, you state you agree 'to some extent', but the essay structure is more of a balanced discussion rather than a clear, sustained argument. While you provide relevant reasons such as economic benefits and environmental impact for domestic travel, and social status for international travel, the development of these points is somewhat superficial. To reach a higher band, ensure your position is clearly stated in the introduction and consistently supported throughout the body paragraphs, with more detailed explanations or specific examples to flesh out your arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'The first and foremost reason', 'In addition', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'While I agree to some extent since it contains few reasons of exploring abroad states.' Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences within paragraphs flow more naturally would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary', 'escalating demand', 'cost-effective', and 'carbon footprints'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'foreign trips includes high budge' (should be 'budgets'), 'exploring foreign' (should be 'foreign countries'), and 'significate reasons' (should be 'significant'). These errors do not prevent understanding, but they do limit the precision of your expression. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that word forms (e.g., nouns vs. adjectives) are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'carbon footprints are become less effective' and 'local trips will encourage by society'. Punctuation is generally functional, but the sentence structure often feels slightly rigid. To move to a higher band, focus on reducing these recurring errors and increasing the variety of your sentence structures, ensuring that your complex sentences are constructed with greater accuracy.
