Student answer (Band 5.5)
I agree that majority of people in the future will want to start going for vacations in their own home country and they will not want go for vacations in Europe.
Firstly,The crime rate, when people go for vacation in another it is likely that get robbed, scammed, kidnapped or even raped by the citizens of the country they go for vacation and which these people leaving their own comfort just to enjoy another country for the moment are not protected. So instead of leaving their own counry and comfort zone, they would to want go for vacations in their country which they know the areas they are going to they will safe and not experience crime which can be lower possibility. For example,My friends and I went for a vacation in Bali,We were to use few days because it was a vacation from work.We just used a day or so in Bali and our hotel was robbed by the staffs of the hotel,we tried reporting to mangement of the hotel but they did not help us at all.
Secondly,The finances, the amount of money you will going on vacation in another country is alot than going for vacation in your own home country. The booking of the flight ,tickets, hotel, buying new clothes and shoes and getting new camera because you do no want to miss the memories of going to another country and so on. But going for vacation in your home country there is less amount of money to be spent, you would not be thinking of booking flights you can easily do road trips and book cheaper hotels and so on.
In Conclusion,I agreeded it is better to go for vacation in your home country than other country because of safety and less financial burden .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of domestic tourism. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The argument regarding safety relies on a sweeping generalization that international travel inherently leads to being 'robbed, scammed, kidnapped or even raped,' which lacks nuance and objectivity. While the personal example about Bali is relevant, it is anecdotal and does not fully support the broader claim about global safety. The second point regarding finances is more logical but remains underdeveloped. To reach a higher band, you should provide more balanced, objective reasoning rather than relying on extreme generalizations or purely personal anecdotes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Firstly,The crime rate, when people go for vacation...' shows a lack of control over sentence structure and punctuation. Transitions between ideas are sometimes abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear. The conclusion is also quite brief and repeats the prompt's language rather than synthesizing the main points effectively. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences flow logically into one another would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There is significant repetition of phrases like 'go for vacation' and 'in their own home country.' Some word choices are awkward or incorrect, such as 'the amount of money you will going on vacation... is alot than going for vacation.' There are also issues with collocation and word formation (e.g., 'agreeded'). To improve, you should focus on using a wider range of synonyms and more sophisticated collocations related to travel and economics, while also ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement, missing articles, and run-on sentences. For instance, 'they would to want go for vacations in their country which they know the areas they are going to they will safe' is grammatically fragmented and confusing. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty. You need to focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring that each sentence has a clear subject, verb, and proper punctuation before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
