Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the future, more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday. Its total depend on what budget people are having if they are having that much too afford or not . But in my opinion I disagree to this because people are having that mindset of going abroad and show case everyone.
Firstly, I disagree to this because nowadays people are having that thing in their mind that going abroad is the only thing they can to and show there family how rich or affordable they are. people are not liking there own country and want to travel other countries despite of travelling and knowing more about there own country they are having more interest in knowing other countries and following other countries culture and applying in there own lifestyle. People are removing or we can say avoiding there own culture and being transfer to the modern culture.
Secondly, there are some people who love there own country and wanted to explore more about there own country because every country in having many historic places and many thing to explore and come to know about there country. And also some people are not that much capable of affording the expense of abroad. Also some people having that love for there own country to go more and explore every place of there country and know about more what the country is having from years.
In conclusion I am not happy with the thought of some people of going abroad despite of knowing and investing in there own country they want to explore other countries and apply there culture and replace with there own culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against the idea that domestic tourism will replace international travel. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The arguments regarding 'showing off' wealth and the loss of culture are mentioned but not fully explored or supported with specific, concrete examples. The essay tends to over-generalize about people's motivations for travel. To reach a higher band, you should provide more detailed explanations or real-world examples to support your claims, rather than repeating the same points in different ways. The conclusion also introduces a slightly different focus rather than summarizing the main arguments effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'Also'). There are instances where the logical progression between sentences is weak, particularly in the second paragraph where the transition between 'showing off' and 'culture' feels abrupt. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the use of 'there' instead of 'their' throughout the text, which occasionally disrupts the flow. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is significant repetition of basic words like 'people', 'country', and 'explore'. Furthermore, there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'there' used instead of 'their', 'to' instead of 'do', and 'transfer' instead of 'transition'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on learning collocations and synonyms to avoid repetitive phrasing and ensure you are using the correct form of words in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical inaccuracies, such as 'Its total depend on what budget people are having' and 'people are not liking there own country'. Subject-verb agreement and the use of articles are inconsistent throughout the text. Punctuation is also problematic, with some sentences being run-on or lacking necessary commas. To achieve a higher score, you need to demonstrate better control over complex structures and reduce the frequency of basic grammatical errors, which currently occur in almost every sentence.
