Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is true that most of the people have keen interest to go own nations during holidays instead of going overseas. Although some people love to go own country when they take off from their work or study, i believe that masses prefer to go abroad during vacations.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some individuals prefer to go own country during holidays. First and the foremost, most of the masses are interests to go own country because they want to spend time with their families and children. To explain, they feel home sickness when they are outside for work that is why they not only feel anxiety and depression but also create weak bonding with their family. So when they would have holidays, they prefer to back in your country. In addition to it, it is cheaper for them to go in own nations because they have own house and they have no need to spend money on rental house.
Despite going in own nations during vacations, i opine that people will go another nations on that time. Firstly, if person will go another city, they would get an opportunities to learn about not only cultures but also language which helps them to become multi lingual person. Along with this, some time this tourist would be beneficial for them in future. To elaborate, when they will go to another city, they would able to know about the weathers, locations and region so they can easily go there if they have need to go there for business purpose.
In conclude, while it is best opinion to go in their nations during vacations, according to my perspective, people have no miss the great opportunities to know about another places, language which is more necessary in up coming life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses the prompt by discussing both domestic and international travel. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While the reasons for domestic travel (family bonding, cost) are clear, the arguments for international travel are less focused, confusing 'another city' with 'abroad'. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments could be more logically extended. The response covers all parts of the task, but the reasoning lacks depth and occasionally drifts into generalisations that are not fully supported by the examples provided. To improve, ensure that the arguments directly address the specific prompt of 'abroad' versus 'own country' consistently throughout the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'Firstly' and 'In addition to it'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly when the text shifts between 'own country' and 'another city'. While the paragraphing is appropriate, the transition between ideas could be smoother to enhance the overall flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'most of the masses are interests to go' and 'people have no miss the great opportunities'. The range is limited, and the student relies on basic vocabulary to express complex ideas. To achieve a higher score, the student should focus on using more sophisticated collocations and avoiding repetitive or grammatically incorrect word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('most of the people have', 'masses are interests'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage ('go in own nations'). While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and ensuring consistent use of articles and prepositions.
