Student answer (Band 6.5)
In contemporary era, travelling has significant role in people's lives. In the future, increasing number of people will choose to spend their holiday in their own countries rather than travel abroad. This essay will elucidate that I agree with this view and I will share testaments with examples in the subsequant paragraphs.
To commence with, why people may incresingly holiday at home is the rising cost and inconvenience of international travel.
To expand, overseas trips can involves expensive airfiares, visa application, travel insurance and unfavourable exchange rates. By contrast, domestic holidays usually require less planning and can be significantly cheaper. For example, a Canadian family living in Alberta can enjoy the Rocky Mountains, National parks or malor cities such as Calgary without spending thousands of dollars on international flights and accommodation. Thus, aforementioned reason, peolpe will choose more travel in their country that leads less costing.
To further solidify reason is that domestic tourism ha sbecome increasingly appealing. To exmplify, many people are beginnig to realise that they do not need to cross national borders to experience beautiful scenery, historical sites or diffirent cultures. Governmnets and tourism companies are also investing heavily in local attractions, transport and accommodation, making travle within a country more enjoyable and accessible. For instance, some people living in India can visit the beaches of Goa, the Himalayan region or historic cities such as Jaipur. Consequently, domestic travel can provide much of the excitement .
Furthermore, environmental concerns may encourage people to travel shorter distances. International flights produce substantial carbon emissions, whereas travelling domestically by train, bus or car can sometimes have a lower environmental impact.
In conclusion, I agree that domestic hollidays are likely to become more popular in the future. Rising travel costs, greater convenience, improved local tourism and increasing environment awareness will the attractions of their own countries rather than travel abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have clearly addressed the prompt by taking a definitive stance and supporting it with relevant arguments, such as financial considerations, the appeal of domestic tourism, and environmental concerns. Your ideas are logically extended with specific examples, such as the Canadian family in Alberta and the Indian tourism examples. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, ensure that your conclusion synthesizes the main points more effectively rather than just listing them, and ensure that all supporting points are fully developed without minor grammatical slips that occasionally obscure the clarity of your reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use a variety of cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'To expand', 'By contrast', and 'Consequently' to guide the reader through your arguments. Paragraphing is used appropriately, with each paragraph focusing on a central theme. However, there are some minor issues with cohesion, such as the slightly awkward phrasing in the final sentence of the second paragraph ('Thus, aforementioned reason, peolpe will choose more travel in their country that leads less costing'). Improving the flow between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to discuss the topic with some precision, using terms like 'contemporary era', 'unfavourable exchange rates', and 'substantial carbon emissions'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'subsequant', 'incresingly', 'airfiares', 'malor', 'peolpe', 'exmplify', 'diffirent', 'Governmnets', and 'hollidays'. While these do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to eliminate these basic orthographic slips, as they detract from the professional tone of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You show a good attempt at using complex sentence structures, such as 'In the future, increasing number of people will choose to spend their holiday in their own countries rather than travel abroad.' There is a mix of simple and complex forms. However, there are persistent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('increasing number', 'travle within a country'), subject-verb agreement issues ('overseas trips can involves'), and awkward phrasing ('will the attractions of their own countries'). While these errors rarely impede the reader's understanding, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and article usage to improve accuracy.
