Student answer (Band 6.5)
In upcoming years, it is assumed that people will prefer to travel and explore domestically rather than travelling internationally. I completely disagree with this stance, as individuals are already familiar with their country's culture and landscape. However, wanderers often want to experience something unique and different which is solely possible by travelling abroad.
To commence with, most individuals have already experienced their landscape and are quite famailar with their own culture, so they prefer to travel to completely different location to explore a new culture and have adventerous experience of different landscapes and weather conditions.Travellers often want to experience different kind of people and understand their way of living and this is only possible by travelling to such places. For instance, people often fly to Mongolia to experience the Mongolian nomadic lifestyle, where they live in tents on the top of mountains and consume their local food items such as honey and cheese. Moreover, people often travel to different weather to rejuvenate themselves during their vacations and keep them disconnected from daily-life choas.
Furthermore, social media and easy travel process across borders encourage people to travel the world. Nowadays, many travel influencers post content about lifestyle of different places which creates curiosity of exploration among the population. Likewise, online booking applications and travel agencies make travel stress free and affordable. Additionally, in order to boost their economy, many developing nations such as Indonesia and Nepal are not only offering visa-on-arrival and but also inviting people from all over the globe to explore their toursit attractions.
To sum up, I believe people in the future will prefer to travel overseas instead of their travelling within their own countries. This is because individuals are already used to live in their home country and want to travel abroad to have a unique social experience. Internet and lineint visa rules make travel convenient, affordable and stres-free.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have clearly stated your position against the prompt and maintained it throughout the essay. The ideas are relevant and well-supported with examples, such as the mention of Mongolia and the economic policies of Indonesia and Nepal. The response addresses all parts of the task, providing reasons for why people prefer international travel. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully developed; for instance, while the point about social media is good, you could further explain how this specifically shifts the preference away from domestic tourism to ensure a more comprehensive exploration of the prompt's premise.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore' to guide the reader through your arguments. However, there are some minor issues with mechanical usage, such as the slightly repetitive structure of your transition phrases. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. To improve, try to vary your linking words and ensure that the transition between the influence of social media and the economic policies of developing nations is more seamless.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a sufficient range of vocabulary to discuss the topic with some precision, using terms like 'rejuvenate', 'nomadic lifestyle', and 'tourist attractions'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'famailar', 'adventerous', 'choas', 'lineint', and 'stres-free'. These errors are noticeable but do not impede communication. To achieve a higher band, you should focus on accuracy in spelling and attempt to incorporate more sophisticated collocations or idiomatic expressions to show greater flexibility in your word choice.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this task. There are several grammatical slips, such as 'used to live' instead of 'used to living', and 'different kind of people' instead of 'different kinds of people'. Additionally, there are minor punctuation errors, such as missing spaces after periods. While these errors are frequent, they rarely impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct usage of gerunds after 'used to', and proofread carefully to eliminate minor punctuation and typographical slips.
