Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both travelling abroad and domestic tourism. However, the position is not consistently clear. While you mention your viewpoint in the introduction, the conclusion fails to explicitly state whether you agree or disagree with the future trend mentioned in the prompt. The ideas are relevant, but the development is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding economic benefits is mentioned but not fully explored in relation to the future trend of domestic travel. To improve, ensure your position is maintained throughout the essay and that your arguments directly support your stance on the future shift in travel habits.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Additionally', and 'However'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'The both viewpoints along with my viewpoints for former view'. The progression of ideas is generally logical, but the transitions between sentences could be smoother. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and some sentences feel disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used naturally will help elevate your score in this area.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'developed vehicles' instead of 'improved transportation' and 'increment of their GDP' instead of 'increase in their GDP'. You rely on basic vocabulary, and there is a lack of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions. To improve, focus on learning collocations and more sophisticated synonyms for common words like 'expensive' or 'travelling'. Proofreading for word forms, such as 'employments' (uncountable), is also essential.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Many people believes', 'every countries have'), article usage ('travelling to abroad'), and pluralization ('employments'). While you attempt some complex structures, they are often marred by errors, such as 'resulted in increment of their GDP'. The range of structures is limited, and the errors are noticeable. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Reviewing sentence construction will help you produce more error-free sentences, which is necessary for a higher band score.
